It's two and a half hours into dinner service, and while Colleen has finally mastered the spaghetti, she still has a lot to learn about risotto.
Look! [returns to workstation and tastes the risotto] Hey!
[Gordon spits out the risotto in disgust]
That's the risotto! That, quite frankly, is the worst risotto I've ever tasted in my entire cooking career. Why is it so sweet? Who put sugar in there?
[holds up a pot of sugar] I grabbed this. I thought it was salt.
LLA
(interview) Are you fucking kidding me?
That... [throws the risotto in the trash] is shit! Oh, my God!
(interview) Meat is one of my fortes. I definitely had six, seven out of eight without even looking.
Ring the bell, ring the bell. Go for it!
[Seth lightly taps the bell]
[Seth hits the bell harder]
Seven wrong for blue, let's go.
Holy shit! We're working backwards!
(interview) SETH, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!
Seth's poor performance has set the men back. Now Lacey has a golden opportunity to redeem herself with her team.
(interview) It's my chance to show my team that I can step up, and that I deserve to be here.
(interview) Lacey was just moving things around for the feeling that she was doing something, and you know what, that's no different to how she is in the kitchen.
[Robert rings the men's bell]
Robert has only improved on Seth by one.
(to Lacey) Come on, let's go! Come on, come on, come on, come on!
[Lacey rings the bell]
Okay... (sees that Lacey has placed the "bottom round" label near one of the model cow's front legs) BOTTOM ROUND?! WHAT DOES "BOTTOM" MEAN? One, two, three, four, five, six wrong! Dear oh dear!
As the Blue Team heads to the spa for a day of pampering...
...Back in the dining room, Max's mom lets J.P. know he'll be working with someone to plan the party...
BBrenda
This gentleman's very recommended.
FFrancisco
Bonjour, darling!
BBrenda
Oh, here he is now.
...Someone he knows all too well.
FFrancisco
JP, hello! It's so good to see you! [hugs J.P.] I'm so thrilled to be back! Are you thrilled to see me?
BBrenda
Alright, well, we'll see you tomorrow night, OK? Great party.
FFrancisco
Thank you so much!
Thank you. (to Francisco) You, listen.
FFrancisco
(whispers) Yeah?
You are not interfering with my job.
FFrancisco
I respect your boundaries.
Leave my thing for me, and then you do your little thing.
FFrancisco
"My little thing." Oh, it will be so happy.
FFrancisco
Oh, here they [the Red Team] come.
Ladies, ladies, ladies, we've done a few parties in the past with Francisco.
FFrancisco
I'm so excited to be here! This is so fabulous! [the ladies laugh] Wait until you see what we're making. We are going to go up, up, and away with beautiful balloons, all around. It's going to be so festive!
(interview) Oh, Francisco's just fabulous, all the way around.
FFrancisco
We have twinkly centerpieces on all of the tables...
(interview) It's the way he talks, it's the way he dresses, everything. He's fabulous.
FFrancisco
We are going to make this the most beautiful sports arena!
LLA
(interview) I'm gay, that dude is parade gay.
LLA
(interview, laughs) Wow.
FFrancisco
Let's get to it!
I've got sauce on one, and two Dory on. LA?
[LA is standing still and staring into space]
(interview) It's almost like LA was half-asleep or something.
GGloria
Come on! LA, wake up! Are you sleeping?
She's dreaming. Come on, more (voice cracks) SAUCE, you silly cow!
LLA
(interview) He called me a cow. For the first time.
Don't cook all the fucking Dory in one pan unless you're boiling them, yes?
LLA
Yes, chef. (interview) In the real world, you wouldn't have someone yelling at you like that. You wouldn't have someone calling you a cow, a bitch. You wouldn't. 'Cause if someone in the real world called you a cow or a bitch, you would walk up to them and sock them in the face.
Where's the lamb, please? [Checks on the mashed potato in the pot and gives it back to L.A.] Stone-Cold. Come on! It's not good enough! Bland, cold, horrible mashed potato!
(interview) Chef was on, L.A. 'cuz she was a little late, I don't know what happened. All I know is she didn't have a good day today.
The person leaving Hell's Kitchen... is... Carol... Andrea... back in line. L.A., take your jacket off, please? And leave Hell's Kitchen. [L.A. gives chef her jacket and shakes hands with her] Thank you.
LL.A
(departing interview) I definitely think Chef Ramsay made the wrong decision. Anything I did in there: I did the best of my ability. I'm big on not showing an emotions in a kitchen. Emotions are weakness. And I will never be weak. Never.
[During the signature dish challenge]
LTLa Tasha
What I have here is a grilled hickory-rubbed watermelon.
Seriously? You had forty-five minutes to make me anything, and you grill me a slice of fucking melon?
The rub doesn't work. I'm disappointed, it's underwhelming! One! (to Fernando) Okay, young man, could you take your glasses off for one minute? How old are you?
Stop! Harry Potter looks older! [audience laughs] Jesus, are you on a diet?
[laughs along with the audience and contestants] For you or me?
Okay, so what's the dish?
Pan-seared pigeon, chef, with a sweet potato purée and a California fig and balsamic reduction.
You cooked the squab beautifully. Purée's just absolutely sublime. Congratulations, four.
WHAT IN THE FUCK IS GOING ON? The salmon is raw, and the chicken is as dry as a fucking camel’s asshole in the fucking desert storm! Look how stringy that is. (throws chicken)
Hey no, no, no, not heard (throws spoon). No, stop! That’s food leaving the kitchen expected to be served. No! No! No! No! (Slamming the raw wellingtons and overcooked chicken).
LTLa Tasha
(interview) It feels like, I just took 1, 2, like 3 uppercuts straight to the gut.
Let me communicate something to you all: GET OUT! GET OUT!
WWWendy Williams
(shocked) He’s kicking them out.
And so much for Wendy Williams being a source of inspiration. V.I.P.’s? You certainly didn’t treat them like V.I.P.’s. Pathetic! Absolutely pathetic.
[brings mussels and capellini to the pass] Right behind, chef. Right here, chef.
It's just cooked to fuck.
LTLa Tasha
I'm looking good! Looking good!
Hey, red team! Who just shouted, "Looking good?" Come here, all of you! Let me show you something that's looking shit! (to Kalen) That's you, ignorant lady!
Look at that. What in the fuck is that? Anybody?
LTLa Tasha
A dry capellini, chef.
(interview) Kalen, you brought that capellini to Chef? Are you insane?!
That looks like something that's been left over in the fucking pot wash. Start again!
Meanwhile, back in the red kitchen...
(to Roe) Branzino and salmon garnish, you can go on that.
...Sade on fish is doing her part to keep the entrées flowing.
Yes, baby, you're up there! I'm ready.
Let's go! Wait, wh–where's the garnish?
But Roe on garnish can't seem to keep up.
What's up?! You said you had it! (interview) It is so frustrating to have all of my proteins cooked perfectly, ready to go up, and I do not have cauliflower that is ready. It's extremely irritating.
(to Roe) I can't walk the protein before the garnish. Come on, you got that?
You're not the only one I'm fighting for.
(interview) Bitch, are you serious? Please!
Red team! What did I say at the beginning of service?!
(to the red team) Hey! All of you, come here! All of you! One, two, three, four, five. Yeah? And one ticket left in the blue.
We're just destroying ourselves! So lackadaisical!
LTLa Tasha
(interview) Chef Ramsay said that we're lackadaisical. As soon as I find out what that means, I'm gonna make sure that I'm never that way again!
[checks scallops brought by Ashley Sherman] This is the chef's table.
What are they doing, Andi?
Keep talking, ladies! Come on, where are you guys at?!
[returns to workstation] Hey, hey, hey. Come here. I'm not gonna embarrass myself for the third time in front of that table. Look at them, look. Just touch them. Touch.
LTLa Tasha
I'm jumping on scallops.
(to Ashley Sherman) Hey. Hey, you. Hey, come here. Let me whisper something very important to you here. Very important. [whispers in Ashley's ear] Fuck off. Get out. GET OUT!!
[Marino returns to the pass with calamari from the Italian Consulate table]
The Italian Consule, they told me the calamari are raw and got no flavor.
Raw calamari, fucking hell. Unbelievable, ALL OF YOU, STOP! ALL OF YOU! Have I got news for you, raw fucking calamari. Touch them, raw. Yeah, raw calamari.
LTLa Tasha
(interview) Ashley, what is happening? Undercooked? Seriously?
That's from the Italian Consulate table. WHAT IS GOING ON? WHAT IN THE FUCK IS GOING ON?! (to Sterling) Any ideas now? All of you, get out! Just leave me alone! Get out! GET FUCKING OUT!
(interview) Again? Fuck me!
GET OUT!! PATHETIC! GET OUT!!
(interview) From what I've seen so far, the Red team is kind of a let down for me, it's just ridiculous.
Last ticket! Come on guys, MOVE!
Alright, garnish is walking!
Behind you. [brings his steaks to the pass]
Here we go, story of the night. Tagliatelle? (to Aaron) Give me a fucking time, you.
(interview) I don't here any more yelling over there in the Red team which means the girls just got kicked out so we have to close this service down.
Behind, two tag. [brings his tagliatelle to the pass]
Oh, my God man. That is extraordinary. Happy now?
(to Steve) Yeah, fuck it. You start slow, he (Frank) sends raw food, clear down.
[Gordon has asked the red team to nominate two people for elimination, except...]
(to himself) ...I can't do that. (to both teams) Wait! Blue team, red team! Come back! Hurry up! Red team!
LTLa Tasha
(interview) Oh man. What's happening?
(interview) Whoa! What is going on?
Uh, here's the thing. Sometimes, things happen in Hell's Kitchen, and we have to adapt. Steve left tonight because of injury, so we already lost a chef. And do you know what? Sometimes when this happens, I choose not to send anybody home. But that won't be the case tonight.
[Frank gives a disheartened look]
[beat] Say goodbye to Frank. Your time has come.
(gives Frank a hug) Keep your head up, man. I love you, man.
I'm very, very, very sorry about tonight.
Young man. [holds up a letter of gratitude that Frank wrote earlier] I really appreciate what you wrote to me. Unfortunately tonight, Frank...
...I didn't appreciate your cooking. Give me your jacket. Your time is done in Hell's Kitchen. [Frank gives Gordon his jacket] Thank you. [gives Frank a goodbye handshake] Good night.
[walking through the dining room, towards the front door] It's not my time. I can't believe I did this. [outside the restaurant] I feel sick to my stomach. The saddest part is that I didn't get to show Chef Ramsay I'm so much better than this, and that's what's really ripping me apart. But I still will always have the passion to do what I'm doing, and I still will succeed in life doing what I do.
[After Sterling took the scallops found raw; returns it to the workstation]
Four scallops cooked properly, and one raw.
One raw! Hey, do we need to change stations?!
(interview) That's a good idea.
LTLa Tasha
(interview) Hell, yeah!
At this stage, it's driving me MAD! You're not learning from your mistakes! Just stop! I've had enough. All of you, get in there and have a meeting, will you?!
LTLa Tasha
(interview) Come on, Sterling!
LTLa Tasha
(to Sterling; as the red team walks into the pantry) Sterling, can you do this?!
LTLa Tasha
Well, what's happening?
Sterling, let me tell you! Do not pull a Frank right now! If you need help...
I'm not pulling no Frank! I GOT THIS!!
One more thing comes back, we'll switch.
Alright, I'll switch! One more thing, I'll switch!
[The red team runs back into the kitchen]
(to Sterling) One more, and we're done!
LTLa Tasha
(to Sterling) Behind you, eggplant!
(interview) I'm so close to just yanking the fucking scallops, and trying to cook them over on the fucking meat station right now.
