[A fantasy featuring Tapu Lele begins as Tapu Lele itself scatters its glowing scales]
[voiceover] Tapu Lele, Akala's island guardian, is known to scatter its glowing scales from time to time. It is said that whoever the scales touch will instantly be healed.
[The camera cuts to Ash in the present]
Oh, yeah. So that's why. [Remembers when Tapu Lele gave him some glowing scales and they healed his hands]
You know what I think? I think Tapu Lele is the guardian of life itself. Its light heals wounds and gives strength to those who need it.

Of course! Just as long as that's what you want. It would make me so happy if you felt Tapu Lele's presence here, and if on our field trip you thought about what life truly means and the relationship between people and Pokémon. I want you to feel that special something that's created only between you and your partner through your encounters. I know that's a lot to think about, though. Ha-ha! [Soon, Olivia, the students and their Pokémon have gone to the port to board a boat that's bound for Akala Island]
Now, all aboard, everybody! [Jumps onto the boat, but she trips up] Uh! Wah! [Hits the wooden floor while the students give awkward looks] Like I said before, nothing to see. Nothing to see.
Interesting. Serious explanations and then belly laughs after she trips.
[Soon, everyone has boarded the boat which is now setting off. Meanwhile, Principal Oak is waving goodbye to the students who wave to him back]

Lurantis, the Bloom Sickle Pokémon. A Grass type and the evolved form of Fomantis. Lurantis use their flower-like appearance and aroma to lure in opponents and defeat them.

[Samson, Professor Kukui and his class have arrived at an airport in the Kanto region)

[weakly] Vul... [Lillie picks it up]

[The camera cuts to Brock who is carrying a black case]
Would you mind if I examine it? See, I'm actually studying to become a Pokémon doctor.
That would be great. We got off the plane, when all of a sudden...

[Meanwhile, a disguised Team Rocket arrive carrying their luggage]
Ugh, this is so depressing.
Going through all this to get to headquarters.
[angrily] So why do we have to take orders from that bob-cut-and-glasses gal, anyway?
We'll get more lectures than all of my school years combined.
[to Matori who is inside a hexagonal bubble] Go away. Go away. GO AWAY!
Hey, no sweat. If we give Loser Locks this honey malasada, she's sure to get in a good mood. [disappointedly agrees] Yeah, like that's gonna work.
[Meanwhile, Snowy is being examined by Brock]

[The camera cuts to Professor Kukui, Samson and the rest of the class]
I wonder what's keeping Lillie.
[Then, they see Lillie with Brock]
Huh? Whoa! Is that Brock?!
[runs to Brock with Pikachu] Heyyy! Brock!
[But then, Brock sees a flight attendant lady passing by]
[lovestruck] Whoa! [Runs past Ash and Pikachu causing them to spin]
Ahh... Such a lovely flight attendant in all her radiance. [Takes out a bouquet of flowers] It would be paradise if we flew the lovely skies together! Chasing clouds with you... Soaring... on love's wings. [Gets pulled by the ear by someone's hand] Ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-OW!
[We see that the person grabbing Brock's ear is Misty]
All right. I come all the way to pick you up at the airport, and this is the thanks I get?!
[releases her grip and waves to Ash] Hey Ash! How have you been doing?
Pika-pika! [Jumps into Misty's arms]
Long time, no see, Pikachu!
[Muk hugs Ash]
Muk, it's great to see you again. [Muk continues smothering Ash. Don't suffocate your trainer, Muk!]
[As the original trio search for Lana's Popplio]
Misty, you sure haven't changed a bit.
Brings back memories. I mean, how the three of us used to travel together [throughout Kanto and Johto]. We did lots of things and had lots of fun.
Although, not everything was fun.
I enjoyed every moment of our journey.
I'm a little jealous of how carefree you are. [Remember, Misty had to resume duties at her Cerulean Gym at the end of Johto, while Brock stopped travelling with Ash at the end of Sinnoh, as he plans on becoming a Pokemon doctor. It is nice that we get to see Ash's original companions after years of their absence, not counting flashbacks or fantasy sequences.]
S20 E43When Regions Collide!
The Cerulean Gym has the Cascade Badge.
And this badge is proof of victory at the Pewter Gym, the Boulder Badge.
[The class all stares in awe]
[to Ash] You won all the badges from the Kanto region, didn't you, Ash?
Sure did! You can win eight Badges and I won them all.
In my case, I gave him my badge out of pity! [Actually, Misty's sisters gave him the badge for stopping Team Rocket from stealing the Cerulean Gym Pokémon]
Say, that story has a familiar ring. [Brock gave Ash the badge despite Ash forfeiting his match due to not wanting to win through cheating]
Hey Ash, what's that supposed to mean?
[nervously laughing before backing off] And after you collected all eight badges, you can compete in the Pokémon League! [This is hinted that Ash did not seem proud of earning these badges out of pity nor what he was like in the past]
S21 E2Now You See Them, Now You Don't!
[Komala rolls over, bringing the scene to the Pokémon school, where Professor Kukui and his students are in the classroom]
Has everybody brought their own clay?
Would you like to share mine?
Thanks, Kiawe. [The camera pans to the right and reveals a clay mountain] All that?
Now, class, today you're going to sculpt your Pokémon partner, closely observing it while you work might lead you to discover something new.
Let's see. Who should I make? Nebby and Rowlet are asleep so, OK, Pikachu, I choose you.
Now, stay perfectly still.
[The camera cuts to Lana who is trying to sculpt Popplio]
Please make a balloon. [Popplio makes a balloon] Stop. Now, hold that pose. Stay still, okay.
[Popplio's balloon goes wobbly and then, it pops, soaking Lana and itself. Meanwhile, Sophocles has not started sculpting]

It's the same.
[The camera cuts to a clay model of Turtonator which was done by Kiawe]
All done. It's Turtonator. [Turtonator cheers, but then the clay model's head looks down] No, it's not stable enough. [to Turtonator] Turtonator, get down. [Turtonator stands on four legs] That's it. Perfect. [Starts making the clay model again]
[Meanwhile, Mallow has also not started sculpting her clay model]
Now give me a cute pose. [Steenee gives a cute pose] Ah, perfect.
[The camera cuts to Sophocles' clay model which is now spinning on a pottery wheel]
All right, let's try you, Togedemaru.
I'm going to faithfully recreate Togedemaru's spikes. My super deluxe pottery wheel and carbon sculptor.
[Everyone, except Lillie, goes to admire Sophocles' invention]
Sophocles, why are you waiting?
[Meanwhile, Lillie has finished sculpting Snowy who admires her work]
It probably would be better if I slimmed it down a little bit.
[Cut to Ash who has sculpted a Mimikyu]
It looks more like a Mimikyu, not a Pikachu.
[The clay Mimikyu's head falls]
[The camera cuts to Rowlet sleeping in Ash's backpack...]

[Gladion is angrily confronting Ash on the beach]
WHAT HAPPENED?! WHY DID YOU BRING LILLIE TO SEE ME?! THE REASON SHE'S UNABLE TO TOUCH POKÉMON IS BECAUSE OF SOMETHING SHE REMEMBERED AFTER SHE SAW SILVALLY, ASH!! IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER OFF FORGOTTEN, YOU UNDERSTAND?!

S21 E9Revealing the Stuff of Legend!
[At the Altar of the Sunne, the four island guardians are hovering above their respective pillars and singing in harmony. Then, the four rectangles surrounding each pillar start glowing]
AHAsh & his Classmates
Huh? [They turn to the Altar of the Sunne]
[Two traces of light on either side make their way upwards to the top of the monument, opening the Altar of the Sunne. Then, the portal beams a light directly onto Nebby]
Huh? Oh, right! The Altar of the Sunne.
Does that mean it's Solgaleo? [The beam goes up into the sky, making everyone cover their eyes due to the brightness, except Gladion] It must be.
What's happening to Nebby?
[Everyone watches as Nebby evolves into Solgaleo and roars]
Nebby turned into Solgaleo?
[Steenee, Popplio, Togedemaru and Snowy scream and run away Solgaleo stomps on the ground and roars. Then, Rotom Dex starts taking pictures excitedly]

This is a massive discovery! I can't believe it! Nebby evolved two times, and now it's none other than the legendary Alolan Pokémon Solgaleo! Information updated, information updated!
[Meanwhile, Team Rocket and Bewear have seen the action from some distance]
Now that's some fancy schmancy evolution.
[Bewear nods]
Wait, I've seen that. [Looks inside his book] That Pokémon is a legend in the Alola region. It's Solgaleo.
Yeah? Where's all that talk of it being an Alolan Koffing?
Right. Koffing this and Koffing that.
[The camera cuts to a close-up of Jessie and Meowth's faces]
We just had to catch Proto-Koffing in order to save a face.
You blew it! Proto-Koffing and Nano-Koffing are phoney baloney Koffing.
[Wobbuffet appears on the left side of the screen]
[Wobbuffet then appears on the right side of the screen]

[Jessie and Meowth are shocked by this, so is Wobbuffet]
S21 E12The Professors’ New Adventure!
[Professors Kukui and Burnet are walking together on an Alola beach at sunset.]
She [Lusamine] can always count on them. Nice. Ash is so cool.
[Burnet looks around before turning her eyes toward Kukui.]
I wish I could've been there, just to see the look on their faces when he said that.
It would've been great if you'd been there.
[He looks toward Burnet.]
They were a sight to behold.
You and I think alike, don't we, Professor? I think so.
[The professors come to a stop.]
Okay then, so tell me, do you know what I'm thinking right now?
Wha--? [He chuckles.] Uh...
Um, it's just... uh... [he chuckles nervously.]
You don't have a clue, do you? [She laughs.]
[The two share a hearty laugh before Burnet takes a few steps away from Kukui.]
Why not just admit it and give up, Kukui?
[leaning towards Kukui] "What I'm thinking about right now is..."
[Kukui reaches his arms out to hug her or something similar, but she dodges and turns around, sending Kukui off-balance for a bit. He recovers and turns around as well. Burnet laughs at this interaction.]
[pointing her finger at Kukui] I choose you!
[Kukui pulls out an upside Poké Ball as if challenging Burnet to a battle. When he does not send out a Pokémon, Burnet becomes confused, then shocked about what she thinks he might do next...]
[Kukui flips the Poké Ball over and opens it. Instead of a Pokémon, the Ball contains an engagement ring, marking the first on-screen proposal in the Pokémon anime!]
[Burnet drops her arm and becomes overwhelmed at Kukui's proposal.]
S21 E13Let Sleeping Pokémon Lie!
[to Ash and co.] It was probably having a dream that very much [imitating Midday Lycanroc] "LYCANROC" ITS WORLD!

[Everybody goes up the elevator to get their ride Pokémon. First, Ash and Pikachu climb aboard a Garchomp]

[The gates open for each Ultra Guardian and their ride Pokémon, and each of the platforms they are standing on rotate 180 degrees. Then, they get sent up one by one. At the same time, the Alolan Exeggutors that stand outside the Pokémon School lean back as the river opens up, forming a waterfall. A platform in the water rises, as do the Ultra Guardians on their Pokémon. Then, the platforms go rolling along and the Pokémon go flying out of the waterfall and into the sky, with Garchomp and Metang going first]
