S5 E11City of Angels

JBJean-Baptiste

Best of luck, New Directions. We really can’t wait to see your set...and crush you like a bug.

I'm sorry we let him down.

CCarol

Let who down? Finn?

We just really wanted to win this one for him and for you.

We had a plan that we were gonna call you up on stage and give you the trophy to keep.

It's not right.

This is not how the story is supposed to end.

CCarol

You're right. Oh, it would have burned Finn to have lost to those guys. All we would have heard for months was how the judges had robbed you or how you were so much better than them.

Yeah, but then he would have stood up, and he would have told you that even though most of you had never been in a show choir before this year. You still stood tall against the best of the best. And you know what, even though Finn didn't have the best voice of the best rhythm or the best throwing arm, he always brought out the best in himself and in others, and the great thing about him is he always managed to find a way to feel like he'd won.

CCarol

I was really proud of you guys up there. Hearing those songs was so healing for me and who know I saw how much he meant to you. So win or lose, Finn lives in you guys.

Okay guys, let's put this trophy where it belongs.

A 2nd Place showing is superior to when Finn decided to make out with Rachel on stage, and we ended up in 12th.

Principal Sue wants to see you Schuester.

2nd place is not losing, it's like winning a silver medal in the Olympics.

I bet you're hoping for a last-minute reprieve and then I'll say something about how you plucky band of pinhead minstrels overcame so much to get where they did & how 2nd place is actually an achievement.

I can't say I wasn't secretly hoping you would consider it.

Well, I have considered it. More than you know. But I just can't. In the words of Ex-Principal Figgins: "My hands are tied". I'm the principal now William & my job is concerned with the health of the entire school, not just the fiefdoms that I like. And I do like you, William. That being said, the Cheerios stay because they won. So does the debate team, the football team, the girls soccer team, & mock U.N. However, diving, academic decathlon, actual decathlon, & yes, the glee club need to go.

Should I fight? Should I make a speech about the arts or how much this club means to me personally?

Save that for your wife. It would probably turn her on. That won't make any difference here.

So this is really it. What's gonna happen to the choir room?

It's prime real estate. They'll probably turn it into 2 classrooms. And since we won't be needing the band anymore to play everything from obscure Broadway to Queen at a moment's notice, probably sell off their equipment & buy some computers. Butt-Chinn up, Schuester. Look where you were 4 years ago when you started this thing. You've got a national championship trophy from last year in that case, & a bunch of other loser trophies standing with it. You & your team have done phenomenally well, & you did it with the world's greatest nemesis playing her best game against you. You didn't lose, William. Game's just over.

S5 E12100

We were all raised by different parents. But we grew up together in the glee club. It's a part of all of us.

I don't have any more pep talks. I just have you guys. And the memory of the people on this wall. My friends. I mean, we share this special bond. We're the only ones in the world who know what this glee club meant to us. What it felt like to sing together. Go be together. And what it feels like to say goodbye to it. I didn't come here to cheer you up. Just to thank you. To thank you for going on this ride with me.

S5 E13New Directions

I think I love you, Puck, and I know is not gonna be easy with me in New Haven, and you...you know were, but I'd rather do hard with you than easy with somebody else

S5 E20The Untitled Rachel Berry Project

My dream of being almost naked on a public bus is this close to coming true.

S6 E2Homecoming

[as Spencer walks into the locker room] Hey, I'm open. [Spencer tosses the football at him, which flies out of his hands] Well, I guess that's why I was the kicker....which was a transformational moment for the school, by the way. Yeah, marked the beginning of a great synchronicity between Glee Club and football. Just ask any of the football guys that are back for homecoming.

SSpencer

So why aren't they here trying to recruit me? Why did they send you? 'Cause we both like guys?

[following him to the bench] Look, I know we don't have much else in common, but only a gay man knows what it's like for us out there.

SSpencer

I know when you were in high school, being gay was how you primarily identified yourself, but that’s not my thing.

Don’t you think it’s everyone else’s thing?

SSpencer

When I told people I was gay, only two people had a problem with it. Coach Beiste kicked them off the team.

Look, you’re naive if you don’t think you’re standing on our shoulders. Okay, you owe Glee Club.

SSpencer

Please, I owe Modern Family. Listen, when Coach Beiste kicked those guys off the football team, they cornered me in the parking lot when I was getting into my car, got all up in my face. One of them ended the day with his jaw wired shut, and the other, I don’t think he ever stopped running. I can’t stand Gaga, I’ve never seen Newsies, and I don’t write Archie fan fiction where Archie and Jughead are hot for each other. Just because you and I happen to be born in the same 10% of the population that would choose Andrew Garfield over Emma Stone doesn’t mean we have anything else in common. So I’m not saying no to your Glee Club because it’s gay or straight, I’m saying no because I think it sucks. I’m sorry, man.

S6 E4The Hurt Locker, Part One

[while with Sue Sylvester in her office] I met someone online, his name is Walter.

[looking horrified] Oh, Porcelain. No-no-no-no. You will never come out of this alive. This person is obviously a cannibal. I mean, look at you. You're exceptionally well marbled.'

[continuing] If I was on a desert island with everybody I knew, I would absolutely eat you first. It doesn't even have to be a deserted island. There could be any number of casual dining establishments, and I would still opt to eat you. A mouth-watering delicious corn-fed Porcelain rump roast.

Okay, I'm leaving.

I heard a rumor that you are making retirement plans.

Damn it, Becky. She tweeted it, didn’t she?

I do not want to get back together with Blaine.

Listen to you. That’s not the porcelain I know.
