Cam quotes from Bones

Avalon? I thought she was barred from the FBI.

Angela

Well, yeah, but she can do her work anywhere. She's been trying to contact Justine.

Oh, the dead person. Is that a local or a long-distance call? Oh, great.

Angela

So you think I'm a loon now, too?

But you're great with a computer. So what did you find?

Angela

Oh, this is where the victim was before he died-- the Frontier Games. It's a weekend-long, role-playing, Old-West-style shooting competition.

Angela

The next Frontier Games will be taking place this weekend.

[sighs] Why do I have a feeling Booth already knows this?

Aubrey

Undercover? Seriously?

Booth

Well, the likely suspects are the participants. [hands Brennan some notes] Look.

Brennan

85% of the competitors are repeat guests from all over the Eastern Seaboard.

Booth

Which is exactly why we have to go undercover. Because if we don't, we're gonna have to coordinate branches in seven different states, we're never gonna find the suspects––

Aubrey

Oh. You just want to dress up and play cowboy for the weekend.

Booth

Yeah, well, if I can do that and solve a crime, why, who wouldn't want to do that?

Aubrey

So what do my beautiful-brained colleagues have for me tonight?

Hodgins

Might want to watch the way you talk about Cam's brain there, Aubrey. Wouldn't want her man overhearing.

Aubrey

Oh, the, uh, photojournalist?

His name is Sebastian, and he's not my man.

Hodgins

[laughs] That's not what the smile on your face is saying.

The smile on my face is saying "Mind your own business.

Booth

Boy, Hodgins would have been all over something like that.

Yeah. But I sent him home. I just....I had to.

Booth

Are you sure about that?

It was the only responsible thing to do.

Booth

Hodgins didn't have a choice about what happened to him. You should let him decide how he's going to come back from it.

I couldn't forgive myself if anything more were to happen to him.

Booth

I-I get that. But, you know, he should at least have the choice. I mean, work could actually give him hope.

Brennan

I do not understand why you think Hodgins needs a misguided sense of optimism about his condition.

Dr. Hodgins, how is the car autopsy going? Or would it be an auto-topsy?

Hodgins

I'd laugh, but the explosion must have paralyzed my sense of humor as well, but at least I figured out what started the fire.

Hodgins

Hey, what time is Brennan's hearing?

Jessica

Wait, hearing? What hearing?

Angela

I think it's going on right now.

Brennan punched a suspect.

Hodgins

That's a big no-no at the FBI.

Jessica

Go, Dr. B! I knew there was a reason she's my hero.

Hodgins

Hey, don't do no, no, Oliver, stop! Come on, man, you can't do that. You can't do multiple boosters, it's not fair.

Your face isn't fair.

Hodgins

[stares at Wells in disbelief] That doesn't even make sense.

Your face doesn't make sense.

Your face is so big that it creates non-Euclidian triangles of over 180 degrees around it.

Hodgins

Is that right? Really?

Yeah.

Hodgins

Really? Okay, well, your face is so expansive that the lensing effect is such that a light passing within one astronomical unit has a radius of curvature of 6e to the ninth meter.

[sarcastically] Ooh.

[walking into Hodgins' lab] Am I interrupting?

Yes!

Fisher

Cartoons upset me as a child.

Hodgins

More of an Addams Family kid?

Fisher

Twilight Zone reruns actually.

Everything about you makes more sense now.

Angela

Well, it looks like a junker, like it's just a bunch of mismatched parts.

Like Frankenstein's monster, but the car version.

Geez, Hodgins. You cannot just roll up on me like that.

Hodgins

I'm in a wheelchair, Cam. I have no choice but to roll up on you.

Angela

New equipment? Whoa. Seriously? What exhibit did you guys steal this from?

No. Actually, it was all donated from the biochem department at Georgetown. They came calling almost immediately after the bomb went off.

Hodgins

[grins] Squints of the world unite, baby.
