[After Mojo is turned into a dog himself, the Girls beg the Professor to let them keep him]
Girls, it's a big responsibility keeping an evil villain in the house. You’ve got to feed him, water him, take him for walks, keep him from causing mayhem and chaos, and chewing the furniture.
The Powerpuff Girls grounded?! How can this be?! What kind of crimes will go unpunished?! What evil will befall Townsville?! And... just where the heck is she off to?
[After the girls are grounded, Ima sneaks out of the house the hotline rings]

[Bubbles cries in the Girls' bedroom while her sisters fight]
Oh, I don't like arguing. Why can’t we all just get along, instead of fighting and arguing?

[Bubbles turns to look at her toy octopus, wiping her eyes]

Bubbles, you should talk to Buttercup and tell her that she should be running the show...
[shuddering] Oh, what did I tell you about Him? Evil. Evil, pure and simple!
Oh Octi, now they're fighting more than ever. I'm so confused! [sobs] Octi, tell me what to do. [gets no response] Octi? Why don't you say something?
HOHim/Octi
[effeminate] Stupid little girl!

[Octi glows red and starts growing bigger until he fills the room]

They're fighting because of you! Because you believe your toys can really talk, and you actually do what they tell you to do.
