Frankie

Hold on a minute. I know what you're up to, and it's not gonna happen cuz it doesn't wanna happen at all. Not again! [tries to storm off] Nice try.

That was weird.

WHERE IS EVERYBODY?!

[Cut to Frankie, Mr. Herriman, and all the imaginary friends having a blast at the beach]

Frankie

Man, it is gorgeous out. Not a cloud in the sky!

Indeed. It is quite an impressive shade of blue. [sits up; realizing] (Oh, no!) We forgot Master Blooregard!

Frankie

Pfft, no, we didn't. He totally ruined our day at the beach, so we left him behind on purpose. Remember?

Oh, yes. Now I recall.

Frankie

Relaxing without him, huh?

[worried] Anyways, I need to consider what chaos he's trying to cause, all by himself.

[Back at Foster's; Bloo is lounging lazily on the couch, watching the weather channel]

WFWeather Forecaster

As a cold front sweeps in, you can expect showers in Spokane.

Showers in Spokane. Spo-Cahn.

WFWeather Forecaster

Temperatures are up there, and its hot in Topeka.

It's HOT in To-Pe-Ka. Its hot. Hot-hot. Hot-hot-hot. Hot. [breathes out] HOT. HOT. Hot-hot-hottot! It's hot in Topeka! Toe-peker. I'm a toe-pick. I'm a hot toe-picker! Pick my toe-IT'S HOT! Pick my hot toe, PICK IT! Topeka's hot, my toe is hot-pick it! It's hot in Topeka. It's hot. It's hot. It's hot. IT'S HOT IN, IT'S HOT IN, IT'S HOT IN TOPEKA!...Topeka.

[Everyone returns home, all banned from the beach by the governor due to Wilt involving an incident with jellyfish and sand]

[enters the foyer, seeing Mac and Bloo cleaning the floor] I do say, Masters Mac and Blooregard. This is a pleasant surprise. Did you spend the entire day cleaning?

[dismissive] No. We did nothing all day. Nothing.

Frankie

[angrily scolding Wilt as they enter] One day, Wilt! That's all I asked for. One day to relax and not worry about anything, and you ruined it!

[ashamed] I'm sorry, Frankie. I don't know what got into me.

Frankie

I don't either. Now I wanna go back, try to clean all of that sand, and somehow find homes for all those jellyfish. [to all the other imaginary friends] You're all banned from the beach! That's what the governor said!

I'll punish myself now, if that's okay. [walks away, followed by the other imaginary friends]

Frankie

[to Mac] I wish I could be you, Mac. No job, no responsibilities. [kneels down to him] You will never be a child again. Don't let it pass you by. [puts her hands on Mac's shoulders] All that matters is right here, right now. Take advantage of every precious moment. This is your favorite time to do the other very awesome things. [walks off]

Frankie

[dragging Bloo back to his room; threateningly] If I see you outside again, you are so going to get it!

It wasn't me, it was Old Man Rivers!

[Frankie annoyingly closes the door and leaves]

[Mr. Herriman, Frankie, Goo, and all the other imaginary friends are shocked with horror at all the destroyed party decorations in the library by Mac]

I warned Bloo not to throw me a party! Every year, I tell him no more parties! But does he listen?! NO! HE NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER LISTENS!!! But he'll listen now! [laughs manically]

Frankie

Mac, this party isn't for you.

[enters with Artie, blindfolded] Surpri-- [notices the wreckage] Whoa, what the heck happened in here?

[looks around, seeing everything is birthday-themed after Artie, and looks down at the squashed cake; shocked at realizing what he had done] I didn't…

AArtie

[heartbroken] I was four years old. [runs out of the library, sobbing]

I thought this was my party. [to Goo] You said you ruined the surprise.

I didn't. Artie saw me walking with my present for him.

And I left.

Artie left, too, remember? He walked out the door.

And I didn't want to tell him about the curtains because then everyone would know I can sew.

IFImaginary Friend

You can? I can sure use me some pants.

Master Mac, when you told me you hate parties, my chief concern was protecting this one from you. But I see now no party is safe from the likes of you. You will destroy each and every one, even if that means destroying lives in the process. [hops out of the library]

But… [attempts to stop him, but retracts]

[Everyone leaves the library, all disappointed with him while scolding him]

[annoyed] You es muy, muy meano.

[Coco squawks annoyingly at him]

[also annoyed] Maybe next time, you could talk about your problems, instead of taking them out on a little imaginary friend.

Frankie

[also annoyed] Like I didn't have enough to clean.

[grumpily] You stink!

How could you, Mac? He was four years old today! Four years old.

[sulking in shame] I thought it was my party.

Frankie

[mumbles to Cheese to stop him from screaming] Rock-a-bye crazy on the treetop. When the wind blows, the cradle will destroy. When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall-

Fall?! [screams]

Frankie

Oh, geez! Okay, um... Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water. Jack fell down and broke his-

Broke?! [screams]

I got this one! The itsy-bitsy spider-

Spiders! [screams]

[Eduardo sighs]

Frankie

Baa, baa, black sheep, have you-

Sheep! [screams]

Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake-

Cake! [screams]

[to "Three Blind Mice"] Co-co-co, co-co-co-

Coco! [screams]

Frankie

Quick, someone think of another song! Something that's not scary!

I got one! Great green gobs of greasy, grimy gopher guts, mutilated monkey meat, chopped-up baby birdies' feet. Great green gobs of greasy, grimy gopher guts floating in my ice cream. and I don't got a spoon.

No spoon! [screams]

[laughs] This is fun!

Frankie

[to Goo] You're a genius! [Goo smiles with satisfaction; runs up to Mac] Did you get it all?

[tired and exhausted] Yeah, I think I actually did!

Frankie

[with eyes tearing up with victory] Do it, Mac. Press "enter."

[As Mac slowly presses the "enter" button, Cheese stupidly gets in the way, pressing all the buttons in the back of his head]

Yeah! I like fishy crackers!

Frankie

[pulls to get the doors open but they're still locked and turns to Cheese; incredibly infuriated] YOU! If you had only listened to one of the thousand times I told you, [gets into his face] YOU…DON'T…LIVE…HERE! GO HOME!!!

Cheese!

[Frankie looks up and is shocked to see the news reporting team have finally arrived]

Frankie

[enraged at Lil' Lincoln] You didn't adopt out the friends. You sold them for profit! [raises her hands with money]

LLLil' Lincoln

Oh, boy. You just figured that out? That's right, toots, I sold them all. And with the scratch I clear, I thought I'd turn this dump into something nice, say, a casino!

Frankie

I…I… You're nothing more than a con man, a crook! Mr. Herriman, do something!

You're right. [hops away] I need to check and see if your hard-boiled eggs are done, Mr. President.

Frankie

[threateningly] You won't get away with this! I am so telling my grandma!

This is all my fault. If I didn't bring them here, none of this would've ever happened. [sadly] I'm really sorry, guys.

Frankie

Oh, it's okay, you couldn't have known. We've just got to figure a way out of here and stop the tyranny of Abraham Lincoln!

We're never getting out of here! All the friends are gone, the madame is brainwashed, all hope is lost!

No! There is one who can save us!

Frankie

Grandma, he's a crook! He locked us in the closet!

He sold all the imaginary friends to make money and he's gonna turn Foster's into a casino!

He made me be his maid! [upset] Called me his First Lady.

Wherever do they get these imaginations? [chuckles] Is that the paperwork giving you control of everything, dear?

LLLil' Lincoln

Just a formality, my darling. Just scribble your nom de plume right there, and it's bon voyage.

[11:00 P.M. in the night; Bloo wakes up, seeing Wilt packing his things in a bindle and leaves the room]

[groggy] Wilt? [follows him downstairs to the foyer and sees him talking to someone mysterious on the telephone]

[on the telephone] Yeah, that's right. It's me. Bet you'd hoped to never hear from me again, didn't you? It's time we set things straight once and for all! Oh, really? Fine! Fine, then it's on! I'll see you in two days! You can count on it! [slams the phone on the receiver in anger]

Wilt?

[surprised to see Bloo has followed him] Oh! I'm sorry, Bloo. Did I wake you?

Are you going somewhere?

Well, yeah...But don't you worry about it. [slings his bindle over his back]

"Don't worry about-?" [walks down a few more stairs to better see what Wilt is doing] What do you mean? Where are you going?!

I did something terrible, and it's time I set things right. [closes the door behind him and leaves the house]

Something...terrible? [hangs his mouth open in shock]

[Next morning; Eduardo, Mac, Coco, Frankie, Bloo, Mr. Herriman, and Madame Foster are all in the room, investigating on what happened the previous night]

Huh. Now if that ain't the pot leadin' the horse to water.

Frankie

Well, he couldn't have just left.

[opens up Wilt's locker] Look. His locker's empty.

And his toothbrush is gone.

[checking under the bunk beds where Wilt usually sleeps and finds nothing there] Coco coco co co!

By Jove, he is gone.

See?! I told you!

Frankie

No note? No letter? No nothing.

Oh, that's not like him at all.

[The Foster's bus pulls up at Sara's house as Mac and Frankie stand at the doorway]

SSSara's Mom

[as the doorbell rings; weeping while dabbing her teary eyes with a tissue] Just a… minute. [answers the door]

Frankie

Hello, ma'am. We hate to bother you, but… [Sara's Mom starts tearing up again] Oh, my gosh. Are-are you okay?

[poking out from the bus window; shouting] WILT MUST HAVE ROBBED THEM! HE'S GETTING DESPERATE!

SSSara's Mom

I'm fine. It's just… I love getting visitors. [starts weeping]

Oh, well, uh… We're looking for our friend. He's really tall and red with one arm.

SSSara's Mom

Oh, yes. He was here. [Mac and Frankie smile at each other; sniffs] We took him to the train station.

Let's try Coco!

Frankie, what if we don't catch Wilt at his next stop?

Frankie

I don't know. But don't worry. We can always try for the next stop until we catch him. As long as there's a trail to follow, we'll find him.

Let's try Frankie!

BEBloo, Eduardo, Douglas, Adam, Nina and Coco

[singing again, making Mac and Frankie annoyed] Frankie Frankie

[Meanwhile, Wilt has finished mowing the final lawn in the suburbs with his lawnmower and dozens lawns have been mowed neatly]

Phew. 274 lawns. [stands up] And it only took several hours out of my trip.

[The gang are checking out at a motel after staying for a late night in losing track of Wilt's trail]

Frankie

[on the phone with Madame Foster while checking out at the front desk] No, Grandma. We didn't find him. We totally lost his trail.

RReceptionist

Checking out?

Frankie

Yes, thank you. [signing a form] It was really late last night, so we stayed in a motel. I guess there's nothing else to do except come home. Maybe you're right. Maybe he will just come back. I sure hope so. We'll be back this afternoon. Love you, too. [hangs up and puts her phone in her purse; sighs sadly]
