It was the world's best game show, filled with trivia, physical challenges, and host Marc Summers, who managed to smile even when his nice suits got messy.

[voiceover] Back in the '80s, basketball was all about showmanship. Flying through the air, slamming and jamming with style. And nobody did it better than the Harlem Globetrotters. And there was no bigger far than my brother Barry. He spent hours trying to be the next Curly Neal, perfecting his buzzer-beating hook shot.

[voiceover] Back in the '80s, before you could buy everything from your couch, you had to drive to an actual location to get stuff. The magical place was known as "The mall." It was the center of every teenager's universe. And nobody loved the mall more than my brother and sister.

[voiceover] Ah, the child stars of the '80's. They were the coolest kids around, and we all wanted to be them. As fate would have it, one grew up with me in Jenkintown. It was R.D. Robb, and I kind of knew him, sort of.
