It's done. Soon, Beto will be on his way back to Peru. Well, if anyone needs me, I'll be behind these crates, crying.

Scenes with Arturo 7

[Lori nervously arrives at Great Lakes City on a rainy day and waits for a taxi]

[answers her phone as it rings] Hey, Lincoln.

Hi, Lori. I need to ask you a--

How do I look? Do I look okay?

You look…the same.

Okay. But do I look like someone you'd want in your life forever? I'm meeting Bobby's dad today and I'm really nervous, and it doesn't help it that my car's in the shop, the rain is ruining my hair, and I'm late!

Wait, you haven't met Arturo yet? But we all spent Christmas at the Casagrande's together.

We should have met them but… [Flashback to the ending events of "A Very Casagrandes Christmas"] As soon as we got there, I had to go to the bathroom. And he left before I got out. [quicky makes her way to the bathroom]

Arturo

Feliz Navidad, Louds! Be right back. Rosa is sending me out for more masa. Wish me luck! [leaves as Lori exits the bathroom, relieved]

[End of flashback]

Then, we ended up leaving before he got back. But today, there's no masa standing in our way! I'm finally meeting him. And I need it to be perfect, Lincoln.

[as Lori enters his apartment] Hey, babe!

I am so sorry for being late. [hugs him] You wouldn't believe what happened to me. [checks out the apartment; amazed] Wow! Your place looks great! Where's your dad?

Relax, babe. He's also running late.

Oh, perfect. I'll go freshen up.

[As Lori washes off her face in the bathroom…]

[off-screen] Hey, Dad, you made it!

Ah! It's him. He's here. [opens the door to see Arturo…only to realize in horror he's the same guy she pushed into the puddle earlier]

Arturo

Great to see you, mijo!

[gasps in horror and closes the door] That's Arturo?!

Arturo

You won't believe what happened to me! I was attacked by the rudest blonde girl!

I shoved Bobby's dad into a puddle!

[knocking on the bathroom door from outside] Babe, are you almost done? My dad's here!

Arturo

You! You're that girl who pushed me a puddle yesterday! [grumbles as Lori gets him back up on his feet]

Babe, is that true? Why did you push my dad into a puddle…twice?!

Arturo

"Babe?" Bobby, this puddle pusher is your girlfriend?

Yes! Your memory is back, though I don't love the nickname.

Have we gotten to later yet? 'Cause I really need to know what's going on.

Let's go inside, and I'll tell you everything over anchovy pizza.

Abuela? You guys ready?

We're just finishing up another batch of masa for the tamales.

Arturo

[takes a sample] Riquisimo, you guys are doing a great job. [Starts taking another sample, Rosa smacks his hand]

[being subtly splattered with masa] Except somebody has trouble keeping the masa in the bowl.

[flings a handful at him] Actually, my aim is quite good.

Mom! Maria masa'd me!

[They both start throwing masa at each other, very childishly]

[getting too old for this] It's like they're kids again.

[opens the windows and takes a photo] I love reminiscing! [starts to cry]

[separates her adult siblings] This batch of masa is done and so are you two.

Arturo

Merry Christmas, people.

This is the best Christmas ever.

[A knock is heard at the door]

I got it! [opens the door, revealing the Louds]

Hola, Mrs. Casagrande. We came to pick up Lori at college, but Vanzilla broke down. Would it be all right if we hung out with you, this Christmas? [he and his family all make big grins on their faces]

We're going to need more masa!

EEverybody

[Nose Gose] Dibs not!

Arturo

[accidentally the last] Dibs not! Chihuahua.

[Bobby runs up to Arturo's place as he puts his suitcase in the taxi trunk]

Arturo

Bobby, what are you doing here? I'm just on my way to the airport.

In a taxi? No, that's so impersonal. Let your son drive you.

Arturo

No, mijo. It's okay. I don't want to be a bother.

It's no bother. And these taxis charge an arm and a leg to get to the airport.

[The taxi driver clears his throat]

Arturo

My company's paying for it.

Mom, Dad, are you okay?

Arturo

Mijo, what's gotten into you?!

We did all of this work to get you two here, so we can all have a lifetime of happiness! You're not leaving here until you get back together again, just like Ernesto said.

So that's what this is about.

Arturo

Huh? Can someone tell me what's going on?

[sighs] Ernesto Estrella predicted you guys would get back together tonight. Hearing it out loud now, it does kind of sound silly, huh?

[as she and Arturo smile at each other] I don't think it was silly. I mean, we are together tonight.

Arturo

Just not romantically.

[disappointed] Yeah, but, it's just one dumb night. Not a lifetime.

But we'll be a family for a lifetime.

[The Santiagos all come in for a group hug]

Arturo

And, hey, what if we made it a regular thing? A family pizza night every month.

And BOOM! A lifetime of happiness after all. Ernesto is the best-o! Estrella out!
