F-fly s-south? Never! You! You keep your big feathers out of this! Why, if-if she was about to fly south, she'd have wings. Ha. So there...
But Rabbie... I do have wings.
Kessie, flying will lead to no good. Remember the promise you made me? About not going to high?
Good. Then no more talk about flying. We have lots more fun than flying.
Oh yes! Aren't you proud of me?
Hey, that's right you soloed! Oh boy, kiddo! There's nothing holding you down now.
[Rabbit sadly walks away and a deflated Kessie hugs Pooh. Cut to Rabbit's house later in the evening]
Rabbie? Um, Rabbie? Could you read me one last bedtime story?
You mean... before you... leave?
Oh no, I didn't mean that, I meant...
You don't need me to read you a bedtime story. You don't need me... for anything.
[Rabbit exits and shuts the door. Kessie sits in a rocking chair by the fire and starts crying]
Kessie. Oh, Kessie! [hugs her as she is giggling]
Did you think I would leave before saying goodbye to you?
[We later see Pooh and Piglet sitting by the enchanted place on top of the forest looking at the sunset.]
PBPooh Bear
I hope spring decides to come early this year. [giggles] I can't wait to see Kessie again.
It's the most peculiar thing. For the longest time, I thought Rabbit didn't like her.
PBPooh Bear
You know, Piglet, sometimes people care too much. I think it's called love.
Oh, do you think we should tell, Rabbit?
PBPooh Bear
Don't worry. I believe he already knows.
[Pooh and Piglet look down at Rabbit and smile warmly as he continues to stare up at the wintry, night sky, waiting for Kessie's return in the spring]
KKanga
[cries as Tigger and Roo are sleeping under the bed] I just know something awful's happened to Roo.
KKanga
I just I knew where Roo was. [as Roo wakes up]
Hey, Tigger, when can we come out? [he crawls out of bed] I'm tired of hidin'.
KKanga
He's never been out this late before. [sobs]
Oh, don't cry, mama. You see? I'll let you find me!
KKanga
[gasps] Oh, Roo! Oh! [she hugs him and Roo hugs Christopher Robin]
[yawns as he comes out of bed] What's all the commotion? Oh, finally found us, huh? [laughs slowly and sleepily] That was your turn to be it. Hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo...
TTed
Okay, fluff and stuff, hand over the tag!
TTed
[yanks on Rabbit's tag] This tag! We've been in here a long, long time, see? And no kid ever wanted to buy us! First day, you get that thing on! [lets go of Rabbit's tag, making it slap onto his face] WHAM-O! Knee deep and customers!
Oh! [holds up his tag] You want this tag? [the counterfeit toys nod their heads in agreement] Oh, well, uh, why didn't you say so? I thought you meant that tag. [points a different direction and runs off]
TTed
Hey, I don't see any- [notices Rabbit is gone] What the?! After him, boys! He's got our ticket outta here!
[They chase after Rabbit]
Never! I'll never give up my tag! Christopher Robin's gonna buy me! [bumps into a drum and goes flying into the counterfeit toys, crashing into some pillows] Phew! Thanks for catching me.
[Rabbit, remembering that they're after the special tag, screams and runs off only to bump into a doll]
[Rabbit, though feeling a little dazed, sees the counterfeit toys running towards him. He yelps and runs away, leaving the tag behind on the doll's arm]
TTed
We want that tag, see?
[Nasty Jack has accidentally ripped off Piglet's badge]
NJNasty Jack
Now look what you done! The badge fell off! You know what this means?
NJNasty Jack
You're not sheriff anymore!
NJNasty Jack
Oh sure, fine. That's just peachy, ain't it? Now I can't even trounce you! What in the blue blazes am I supposed to do?!
[One winter's night in the Hundred Acre Wood, Pooh Bear and Christopher Robin are looking up at the stars and the biggest star of all is twinkling]
Christopher Robin, is that twinkly one really your very own wishing star? Really?
Oh yes, Pooh. Would you like to wish for something?
Then you have to say the special wishing rhyme.
But I don't know the special wishing rhyme.
Silly old bear. That's because I haven't told you yet. Now remember, you have to flap like a bird, jump like a fish, sit down, stand up, wish wish wish.
Flap like a bird, jump like a fish, sit down, stand up, wish wish wish.
[Tigger is playing checkers with himself using various small objects]
Hmm...good move. But not good enough! Hoo hoo hoo! King Kong me! Ha ha! I win, I win, I...always win. Boy this sure is boring. [kicks over the checkerboard]
