April
No, but I sense they're getting weaker, like something is draining the life out of them.
That Bernie guy asked if we'd been feeling tired.
April
And that book he had. Somnioruim- it's Latin for "dreams" or "of the dreams."
I'm gonna see what's in that book. You do what you can here.
(About Splinter's troubled state of mind)
April
There's got to be a way to reach him.
Red, remember the time when you reached the guys through their dreams? Maybe you could the same for Splinter. You know, like mind meld and stuff.
Based on my research on telepathy, it might be possible.
Are you kidding!? You do one awesome thing and you can't even remember how you did it!!?
Donatello, be glad that Michelangelo's tomfoolery yielded the gift that it did. You must find all the humans and turn them back.
We don't even know where they are.
April
I think I do. They were taken to Dimension X by the Kraang. I see them in my dreams. Millions of people, trapped there.
They saw something, but they don't know what.
JJoan
[on TV] And that "something" seemed to be four human-sized mutant turtles.
April
At least she doesn't know they're ninjas.
JJoan
[on TV] And they appeared to be carrying ninja weapons.
April
Or that they're named after artists?
JJoan
[on TV] Furthermore, they may also be…
April
[turns off the TV, annoyed] Oh, doesn't she ever shut up?
[angrily, turns on his sons] How could you all be so careless!? Secrecy is the most important rule of the ninja, and you have broken it! You four are forbidden from leaving the lair!
[shocked, enraged] What!? You can't hold that sloppy escape against us! We got slimed with toxic puke!
But, Sensei, if that pile of muck took us down, you know he's dangerous.
Which means we need to be out there looking for him.
[angrily] No! Until I decide I can trust you to watch yourselves, you will remain here, grounded! [storms off as The Turtles disappointed at this.]
Oh, yeah. Crognard marathon.
[Throws his staff at the television set] And no TV!
[The Turtles sneak out of the lair when...]
[angrily, comes out of his dojo] Did you not hear what I sa… [sees that his sons are in the living room, doing their activities. Splinter leaves. The Turtles try to leave, but were shocked when Splinter blocked their exit with an angry look on his face. April decides to help out by making a distraction.]
April
Oh, oh, whoa! Uh, help!
[April falls and Splinter catches her.]
April! What happened? Did you… [sees that his sons are already gone.] [unhappy] April.
April
[nervously smiling] Um, thanks for the save?
April
Bishop, why do the Triceratons hate the Kraang?
For millennia, the two species have fought over Dimension X. The Kraang use intelligence to battle their foe while the Triceratons rely on brute strength and cunning. It seemed the Triceratons would win, but the Kraang used the most powerful weapon in the universe, a black-hole generator that wiped out the Triceratons entire planet. Only a single Triceraton fleet survived. They vowed vengeance. The battle may have won, but the war has not. It still rages across Dimension X. Now shall we begin?
April
Did that just happen?
The Earth, Splinter, everyone- everything.
Gone. Lost in an endless gravitational pull of singularity.
Watching your world fall into the singularity of a back hole is rather distressing. Can I offer you some coco?
My name is Professor Zayton Honeycutt and you, my friends, are about to embark on a wondrous adventure.
What... what just happened? We're actually alive?
I think we... we went back in time, about six months, based on where the Earth is in its revolution around the sun.
Six months? Then that means everyone's back? Including Master Splinter?
Yes, Leonardo, but only for six months, and then, the Earth is doomed once more. Apologies.
April
I get it. We stop the Triceratons before they ever get a chance to use the Black Hole on Earth.
Indeed. The Triceratons are spending this time searching the universe for the three fragments of the black hole weapon. Many years ago, the Utroms broke the machine into three pieces, hiding each fragment in the safest parts of the galaxy they could find. We must find them before the Triceratons find the fragments and reassemble them.
And if we mess up, we just time travel back, right?
No, no, no, no. A Black Hole prevents repeated localized time travel because even time is subject to its attraction. If we fail, Earth is lost forever. But on the bright side, whoever gets a second chance?
So why do you care, alien robot dude? Why are you helping us?
Yeah, who are you anyway?
My name is Professor Zayton Honeycutt. I'm a friend of the Utroms. It was Bishop who sent me, and plus, I've always wanted to see Earth.
