Steven[looks back at his friends frozen in mid-air; pauses and admits to her]I'm... not My Dad.

Everything you guys said I did, I did. And I did it by myself. I'm sorry. I'll accept any punishment you want to give me. [points down to Lars] Just let him go! And leave the Earth alone.
Ha! Sounds like a solid confession to me.

Steven
[nervously] Um, well…I did it on Earth in front of Pink Diamond's palanquin. I was probably like "Stop!" And she was all like, "No!" So we fought -- I think. And she probably did some cool moves. I probably did some cool stuff, too, some jump-kicks and stuff. But I was most likely deeply conflicted about deciding to shatter her. Definitely crying. I probably had to use the Breaking Point to do it.
It was a sword! [covers her eyes, crying and a blue light fills the room, making everyone except Lars tear up] You… shattered her…with a sword! [starts sobbing]
[walks up and comforts Blue; coldly to Steven] That's quite enough testimony from you! We shall take a short recess.
[Back in the Waiting Room…]

[sees Lars unconiscious on the ground] Lars! [runs over] Lars! [turns him over and tries to wake him up] Lars?
[The Off - Colors walk over, cheering on Lars' victory in unison.]

[Steven tries listening for Lars' heartbeat on his chest and hears nothing, then gasps and breaks down crying, believing the explosion killed him; picks Lars up and holds him close; Tears start streaming down on his cheeks onto Lars' face, and then, Lars' body starts glowing; As everyone watches in surprised shock, Lars' body turns pink, and he slowly regains consicousness]

I'm not upset about what happened on Homeworld although, yeah, a lot of that was really messed up. But my relationship with Connie is even more messed up! I left her behind to go to Homeworld after promising we'd face everything together. I'm sure I really hurt her. I've been calling and texting her for a week, but she hasn't responded once. [tearing up] Connie might never talk to me again! [runs away, crying]

And then l ran into Kevin and he said you'd be here, but, uhh... maybe this is still too soon. I - l don't even know what to say to you. I'm... angry? I miss you? I feel like l'm out of my mind.

No, you're not. I surrendered myself to Homeworld. I let them take me away, maybe forever, and then l came back and l tried to act like it was no big deal, but it was a big deal. I couldn't stand the thought of you being taken away on that spaceship, but... then l did that to you. I promised you we'd always be a team, and... l let you down. [tears up] I'm sorry. Jam buds?

The Diamonds.
This Rose Quartz can't hurt you. You can't be swayed by a few unruly Gems. [holds her hand up in front of Pink Diamond's face, halting her as she's about to speak] Enough! You must understand, you are a Diamond. Everyone on this planet is looking to you. You don't even have to do anything. Just smile and wave. Show everyone you're unfazed by this little uprising. Your Gems will fall into line, and these Crystal Gems will be no more. As long as you are there to rule, this colony will be completed.
[shaking and slowly gets up] Rose. She... She... [struggles to stay stable and defuses into Ruby and Sapphire]
[betrayed with anger] SHE LIED TO US! She lied about EVERYTHING! [freezes up the floor] She held our hands, looked us right in the eyes and told us to never question who we are as Garnet. We never questioned ourselves, or her!

So she did want to protect Earth. She didn't realize what the colony was doing to the planet.

She tried. When she told the other Diamonds she didn't want to go through with the colony, they told her to finish what she started. When she told the other Diamonds she wanted to preserve life on Earth, they created the zoo and threw a handful of humans in. She did everything she could as Pink Diamond. But her status meant nothing to Blue and Yellow. So she decided to make a stand, as someone they couldn't ignore. She was going to scare every Gem off the planet. But everything changed when she saw... your fusion.
[picks up Ruby's letter to her and reads it] "Sapphire, you were right. I need some time to think. So I'm running away. Ruby." This can't be happening! [starts tearing up] Oh, Ruby! I'm so sorry! You left before I could take back all the horrible things I said to you!
Well, Amethyst was with her. Right? Maybe she knows where she went.
[They look up and see Amethyst, laying on Steven's bed and playing a video game]
Steven
Amethyst, have you seen Ruby?
Yeah. I've seen her. She asked me for a pen and paper a while ago. Why?
