[In Team Galactic's headquarters, Cyrus steps down some steps]

CCyrus

Fighting is by far the most frightful by-product of the human heart. Haven't I been telling you that time and time again?

SSaturn

Sir!

JJupiter

But since these children pose a very real threat to our plan for a new world order, isn't it only natural to eliminate them? [Cyrus glares at her and Mars] Hm.

CCyrus

Behold! This is just the kind of accomplishment the human heart has the potential to achieve. But when your heart is ruled by emotions, you will but fight. In which case, humanity will never advance! I guess I could let you know what this is about.

CCyrus

I am part of this! Team Galactic is my creation, and you are now in my creation's headquarters.

Headquarters, in here?!

CCyrus

Correct! We're bringing about the dawn of a new world order, so we're gathered here to discard the old world of discording conflict and make a much better one in place of it.

So, it was you who stole the Lustrous Orb from the Celestic Ruins! You lied to all of us and you lied to Cynthia, too!

CCyrus

Lose your rage. It only destroys.

DDawn

No way! Not when you treat Pokémon that way! This has gotta stop! Now let them go back to their lake!

CCyrus

That can't be done. They're quite necessary for us to be able to bring forth the new world!

Then that means it's exactly as Cynthia said it was!

[Ash and Dawn growl]

CCyrus

Obviously, these children must mean something important if the Legendary Pokémon saw fit to bring them all here. We will need to keep them around until our task is completed, just in case.

SSaturn

Sir!

[Ash, Dawn and Brock get surrounded by Team Galactic grunts, and confronted by Mars and Jupiter and their Pokémon. Then, the camera cuts to and zooms in on an the cornered trio and then, Mesprit, Azelf and Uxie who have red eyes indicating anger. It cuts to Ash who is still cross]

You won't get away with it. Who cares if you're Team Galactic? Pikachu! Thunderbolt, let's go!

Pika... [Uses Thunderbolt] ...chuuuuuu!

DDawn

Piplup, use Bubble Beam!

Pip... [Uses Bubble Beam like Dawn told him] ...lup!

[Piplup's Bubble Beam breaks the stasis cells that each Lake Guardian is trapped in]

Croagunk, do it!

Croagunk! [Aims at Toxicroak when the screen freezes]

While a powerful assault begins to take shape against the evil Team Galactic in an attempt to free the three Legendary Pokémon, will our heroes be successful in their mission? Stay tuned to find out!

S12 E46 The Needs of Three!

[During sunset, Gliscor is still crying about its defeat.]

Yeah, that was a tough loss, eh, Gliscor?

[looks at Ash] Gliscor. Gli...

[After sunset, inside the guest house, the gang is having dinner. Gliscor, however, is not hungry, but instead mourning about its defeat]

Gliscor? Not much of an appetite, huh?

DDawn

You've gotta eat if you wanna get stronger.

Pika, Pika!

Piplup!

[reluctant] Gli... (Fine...)

Lup. [starts eating]

[reaches for its bowl, much to its reluctance; with a full mouth] Gliscor.

[several minutes later, after dinner]

[holds up Gliscor’s Poké-Ball] 'Kay, Gliscor, time for bed.

[short pause]

[reluctant] Scor. (No.)

But, Gliscor, you’ve gotta get some rest.

I guess Gliscor’s got a lot to think about.

Guess so...

[While the gang falls asleep, Ash loses grasp of Pikachu.]

[wakes up] Pika? [rubs his eye, then goes outside. At the edge of the valley, Gliscor is gazing at the moon, still mourning about its loss; off-screen] Pika, Pika?

Gli. (Hmm?)

Pikachu.

[approaches them] Gliscor.

[looks away] Gli.

Too upset to sleep, huh?

Scor. (Yeah.)

Hey, what do you say we take a whack at trying to read the wind, just like McCann said?

[heads up] Gli? (Really?) [grinning] Scor. (Yes.)

[thinking] What'd he say about reading the wind? Yeah, got it!

[Cut to Gliscor chasing Staraptor, who has a rope tied to his tail.]

Star.

Gli.

Gliscor, that’s it! Just keep on chasing after the rope!

Staraptor.

Gliscor.

DDawn

[holding a paper bag] Here, Ash, try using this.

Dawn!

DDawn

I took a bit tinfoil and used it to make confetti. Watch this. [throws some confetti in the air, which reveals the wind once caught in it]

Whoa, great! Now you can see the wind. [to Gliscor] Now, Gliscor, follow that trail!

[starts following the confetti] Gli!

[is given the bag] Thanks a lot, Dawn. [to Gliscor] Gliscor, look down! [throws some confetti] Here’s more!

[following the next trail of confetti] Scor!

You’re really riding the wind!

[happy] Pika, Pika!

[Meanwhile, Team Rocket are travelling in their balloon at night while suddenly some tinfoil hits them.]

What’s with the sparkles?

That’s flying tinfoil.

For what?

[points at something off-screen] That!

Gliscor! [lands in Team Rocket’s balloon basket]

[to Jessie and James] This Gliscor’s from the twoips. [to Gliscor] What are you doing on a night like this?

[calmly] Gliscor, Gli. Gli, Gliscor, Gli.

Translation, please.

Gliscor’s trying to read the wind so it can battle Scizor for the win.

I see... not.

Really? You want an air battle with me again?

Even though Gliscor wasn’t able to land a single hit before?

[as he and Gliscor bow] Yes, we do. We’re asking for another chance, please.

Pika.

Piplup.

DDawn

Oh, please, sir. Ash and Gliscor worked really hard all night long learning to read the wind.

They get it now.

‘Course, we might not be able to beat Scizor after all of this, but still. We really wanna check how far we’ve come and look at Gliscor’s progress.

[determined] Gli!

Dear, what should I do?

Well, there’s always more time to kill, so why not?

[a moment later, Ash’s Gliscor and McCann’s Scizor are prepared for the rematch.]

All right, then. Ready to go?

Yeah.

DDawn

Do it, Gliscor! Good luck.

Pika, Pika!

[When Gliscor’s X-Scissor missed Scizor, much to Ash's frustration.]

DDawn

Scizor’s so fast. It’s amazing.

Metal Claw!

SScizor

[powers up Metal Claw] Sciz...

[determinedly dodges the Metal Claw] Gli.

Oh, so Gliscor can dodge now.

[After Gliscor lost a second time.]

Gliscor, you okay?

Gli...

So we lost again.

Gli.

But not only did you learn how to read the wind, you learned a brand-new move, too. And that’s really good, you know?

[smiles] Gli.

DDawn

Sure is, it’s great!

That’s real progress

Pika, Pika!

Piplup, Piplup!

Yeah, that performance really wasn’t bad at all.

Indeed. Tell me, Ash. How would you like to leave Gliscor with me for a little training?

Leave Gliscor here?

If your Gliscor was able to read the wind that well in just one night, there’s a making of a great pupil here.

[stunned] Whoa, I don’t know what to say.

It’s quite amazing how this reminds me of the very first time I met Scizor. It’s been a long time since I’ve met a Pokémon I wanted to train.

[shocked] Gliscor? [stares at the ground, thinking] Gli...

[Ash is giving Gible some training]

All right, Gible... [Points in Gible's direction] ...Draco Meteor.

[Gible uses Draco Meteor and the attack goes high in the sky, but then it falls]

ASAsh's Gible

Gible...

[Nearby, Piplup is smelling some flowers, even though he has no nose. Then, Gible's Draco Meteor attack hits him]

Piplup! [He faints] Piplup, Piplup!

Sorry, Piplup. [to Gible] Gible, use Draco Meteor.

[Gible unleashes its Draco Meteor attack which goes high in the sky and comes back down again]

ASAsh's Gible

Gible...

[Piplup is looking at his reflection in a nearby river]

Piplup. [Nice water] [But then, Gible's Draco Meteor hits him] Piplup!

[The camera shows that he is now upside-down in the river]

[enraged] Piplup Piplup Piplup Piplup Piplup Piplup...

I'm really sorry, Piplup. [to Gible] Draco Meteor, one more time!

[Gible unleashes its Draco Meteor attack which goes high in the sky and comes back down again]

ASAsh's Gible

Gible...

[But the attack hits Piplup again...]

Piplup! (and again...) Piplup! (and again...) Piplup! [Loses his temper] Piplup, Piplup! [THAT'S IT!] [Runs up to Gible] PIPLUP, PIPLUP, PIPLUP, PIPLUP!!! [I'M GETTING FED UP WITH YOUR CONSTANT DRACO METEOR ATTACK!!!] [Gible bites on his head]

Ugh!

[Piplup becomes extremely angry and uses Bubblebeam on Gible, then Whirlpool. Gible bites on a rock]

Piiiiiiiip! [Starts attacking Gible angrily] Piplup, Piplup, Piplup, Piplup, Piplup, Piplup, Piplup, Piplup, Piplup!

[Ash and Dawn see what is happening]

Ash Hey, cool it!

DDawn

Piplup, oh, no!

[in tears] Piplup, Piplup...

[Piplup has a fantasy in which Gible is being chided by Dawn and Ash]

DDawn

Gible, that's just awful.

Yeah, you keep on hitting Piplup over and over.

Pika!

DDawn

Apologize to Piplup now!

ASAsh's Gible

Gib, Gible.

You've gotta tell Piplup you're really sorry.

Pikachu!

ASAsh's Gible

Gible. Gib, Gib, Gible.

[A second fantasy begins. It features a happy Dawn]

DDawn

Oh, Piplup, no need to worry. My sweet Piplup. Dear Piplup.

[In the present, Piplup is crying in tears of joy as he hugs Pikachu]

Piplup, Piplup, Piplup, Piplup. [His cheeks turn red and his eyes turn small] Piplup?

Pika, Pika. [Runs back to Ash] Pikachu.

Piplup.

Gible, there's no reason to get worked up.

Yeah, you'll get it in no time.

DDawn

Sure. We all know you weren't trying to be mean, Gible.

Piplup?! [What was that?!]

DDawn

Weren't trying to be mean, Gible... Weren't trying to be mean, Gible... [Piplup turns white in shock] Weren't trying to be mean, Gible... [The background turns purple] Piplup... [The camera cuts to the hills, the forest, the sky and then back to Ash and his friends talking to Gible] Piplup... [Walks away from Ash and his friends]

Togekiss has just protected Piplup!

Lup? [Really?]

TTogekiss

Kiss, Toge! [Style! For shame!]

[Togekiss walks over to Gible]

TTogekiss

Kiss, Toge? Kiss, Toge? [Is Piplup really a friend of yours? If so, why are you causing him harm with that Draco Meteor?]

S13 E15 With the Easiest of Grace

[Kenny arrives at the lighthouse waiting for Dawn to arrive. Instead, there's only a note]

Dear Kenny...

DDawn

[in the letter] About my future plans, for the time being, I've decided to go with Ash and cheer him on at the Sinnoh League. I'll have to think about what I'm doing after that. And only I can figure that out. But I can guarantee you one thing for sure: No matter what else happens, I'm going to keep on working toward my dream of becoming Top Coordinator. And as long as we share the same dream, Kenny, I'm certain we'll meet again. Count on it!

And Gible gets today’s gallantry award. Eat all you want.

GGible

[eating] Gible.

DDawn

Now that Gible has mastered Draco Meteor, I’m sure Piplup will be able to rest easier. Am I right?

[happy] Piplup!

[overseeing his Pokémon] Thanks a lot, Gible, Noctowl and Donphan. I’ll work hard in round 4. And that’s a promise!

Pikachu!

[Paul and his Electivire approach]

It’s Paul!

Hey, Paul. So, are you fine-tuning your Pokémon?

Yeah.

Electivire!

Pika!

[overseeing the two trainers] It’s Paul vs. Ash. I’m really looking forward to their battle.

[v.o.] And so, Ash advances to round 4: the quarter-finals, where our battle with Paul promises some red-hot excitement, so stay tuned for two longtime rivals going at it head to head.

[Cut after sunset]

I got Buizel, Professor.

Good. Noctowl and the others are all in good hands. So, waiting for your third Pokémon for tomorrow?

Right. It should be here any minute now.

[Dawn enters the Pokémon Center]

Pip, Piplup!

DDawn

Hey, Ash, it's here!

Really?!

Pika!

[Dawn and Ash head outside the Pokémon Center, where Brock is waiting for them]

Ash, [points at something off-screen] look!

[Dawn and Ash look up and notice a familiar shadow heading for them, much to Ash's and Pikachu's delight]

I've been waiting. Gliscor!

[eagerly licks her lips] Gli.

DDawn

Wow! Those two did it!

[sighs in relief] I was worried for a while. Good thing Pikachu’s awesomely strong!

But Paul still has two Pokémon left. And one of them hasn’t even battled yet. Ash’s Pokémon all have taken damage, and that can only mean one thing: [cue Pikachu panting out of exhaustion] Ash is still operating at a disadvantage.
