[Steven and the Gems take Bismuth to the strawberry battlefield]
Homeworld's final attack on Earth wiped out all of the Crystal Gems.
Rose was able to protect Garnet and myself, and by the looks of it, she was able to protect you as well. [Bismuth picks up a rusty battle-axe]
BismuthI knew those Homeworld elites were twisted. How many of us did they shatter? Crazy Lace? Biggs?! Snowflake?! If I was there, I-I coulda stopped it!!
It's not like they've stopped trying.

What's that?
Homeworld still has its eyes on this planet.
We continue to thwart their plans over and over. [Steven runs over followed by Amethyst]
But they just keep coming back!

Good. I thought I wouldn't get another chance to show those upper-crusts who's boss! Let's show 'em what happens when you mess with the Crystal Gems! [slams battle-axe to the ground with a loud roar; Steven smiles]

Rose Quartz changed my life. I came to Earth thinking this was just another colony. Build another arena for important fighters to fight in, build another spire for important thinkers to think in, and then I met her. Just another quartz soldier, made right here in the dirt, but she was different. And she was different because she decided to be. And she asked me what I wanted to build, and I'd never heard that before. And Gems never hear they can be anything other than what they are, but Rose opened our eyes.
Everybody always tells me how great Mom was. I just don't feel like I can ever measure up to her. [Bismuth chuckles out loud]
Bismuth
I can't believe this... that I'm the one giving the pep talk to Rose's... Rose's...?
Bismuth
Right. You are different. That's what's so exciting. You don't have to be like Rose Quartz. You can be someone even better. You can be you. And you know what? You deserve an even better weapon.
[Steven walks to a severely injured Bismuth holding the Breaking Point]
Bismuth... this has to stop.
Bismuth
So what are you gonna do, shatter me?! [grabs Breaking Point to her gemstone] Go ahead! JUST DO IT!!!
..No! Even if we don't agree, nobody deserves this! [Bismuth pauses, yanks Breaking Point from Steven. He steps back, stops at Rose's sword, draws it out as Bismuth advances—SHING!!]
[for a long beat, Steven sees Bismuth impaled holding Rose's sword]

..You shoulda shattered me back then. At least if I were in pieces, I wouldn't have to know how little I mattered to you. You didn't even tell 'em. You bubbled me away and didn't ever tell your friends... My friends...
I'm going to tell them! I'm gonna tell them everything. [Bismuth takes in a surprise, chuckles in her tears]

Then you really are better than her.
It's a big Crystal Gem wedding! We should all be there together.
Bismuth
Why?! Why are the Crystal Gems still together, after finding out that everything was a sham? Somebody's making them believe in the future, and it's you. You seriously think they're gonna want me around when the last thing I did was try to shatter you? You told them everything, and they made their choice. They want me in a bubble and you out there.
Bismuth
You say they want me to be made of honor? Well, I am; I'm made of the most solid, flexible, diamagnetic stuff there is, and I'm not as dense as you might think. I've got enough self-respect in this gem to accept that they don't want me on their team anymore... I blew it! Everything was different and I didn't believe it.
Everything is different! We had a fight so we can make up, right? If they didn't let you out because they care about me, then they're gonna care that I want you back on the team!

I want you back on the team. Forget the surprise; if we show up together, they're all gonna know that everything's okay.

[wipes off the tears] I guess seeing everyone together's got me really choked up. [bigger tears begin flowing out of his eyes] Wait a second. You don't think…?
[takes off her visor, opening her third eye, using her future vision; horrified] Blue Diamond!
[The sky darkens quickly and everyone looks up to the sky, seeing Blue and Yellow Diamond's ships approaching]
Oh, no. It's the Diamonds! [runs up to Nanefua] Nanefua, get on your Nane-phone! We've got a code blue and a code yellow!
[As the Diamond ships approach the beach, they fly overhead them]
WE'RE OVER HERE, YOU CLODS!
Wha- where are they going?!
If they're not here for us, they must be here for the Cluster!

It's a huge earth-destroying geo-weapon that the Diamonds made out of a bajillion gem shards!
[While the Cluster and Yellow Diamond's ship engage in an arm wrestling, Blue Diamond emerges from her ship as it faces Steven and the others in front of the temple]
Guess it's time to work the old Universe charm.
Alright, I'll just... be in here. [goes inside the house]
Rose Quartz. So you escaped Homeworld and crawled back here. [raises her head, angrily crying with tears of grief] This is Pink's world! How dare you use it as your hiding place?! COME! Answer for what you've done!

Come on, you rocks! Let's put her in a bubble!
PAPearl, Amethyst & Garnet

Wait, there's no reason to fight. Let me talk to her. [approaches Blue Diamond to try and reason with her] Blue Diamond, please listen to me! I didn't shatter Pink Diamond. Pink Diamond's right here. It's pretty interesting when you think about it--
ENOUGH! [hurls an energy blast at Steven, knocking him back, only for Alexandrite to catch him]
You cannot fathom how much I've mourned, what thousands of years of grief has done to me! [unleashes her aura, de-fusing Alexandrite, making everyone fall on their knees and tear up, except Connie]
[through her thoughts] I won't give up. Everything I do, I do it for her! I do it for him!
[leaps through her] Don't forget about yourself, Pearl!
Bismuth
[through her thoughts] I just got my friends back, and now, I'm gonna lose 'em again?!
We can still do this… [jumps through her] together!
Bismuth
What am I thinking? We haven't lost, yet!
We can't just hand Steven over to Blue Diamond, she's a shatterer!
Bismuth
She's not gonna hurt him, look at her. She really thinks he's one of them.
[sobbing loudly] Somebody make Blue Diamond stop!
It's just… [sniffles] Blue Diamond's power. She's obviously relieved that Pink Diamond wasn't shattered after all.
[Yellow Diamond tries to reactive her ship but fails]
Hmm. How could you do this to us, Pink? Why did you let us think you were shattered? Why the strange disguise? Why are you doing a voice? Why didn't you say something at the trial?! And Blue, could you please stop crying? I can't see. [wipes her tears, splashing the Gems]
Sorry. [sets Steven down]

Well, apparently, Mom… Oh, geez. You don't know what a mom is. Okay, Pink Diamond took the form of Rose Quartz permanently after faking her shattering. Then, Rose Quartz gave up that form to create a new life with my dad-- me. Rose passed her gemstone and some of her powers onto me, but that's all. I-I don't have any of Pink or Rose's memories. I'm sorry.
Hmm. I'm sure your memories are in there somewhere, Pink.
