Baron Mordo quotes from Spider-Man

Baron Mordo

My master. Venom is facing formidable foes. There is a chance that the probe will be lost to us.

Mordo, I leave nothing to chance. The probe will be secured - if not by Venom alone, then with someone else.

Baron Mordo

Someone else?

When I ordered you to retrieve the symbiote from space, I did so not only because of its strength, but also because... it was about to reproduce!

Baron Mordo

The symbiote can do that?!

It can, and it has. There is now another.

Baron Mordo

But to be effective, won't the second symbiote need, as its host, someone as fanatical as Brock?

Yes. Perhaps even more so...

Baron Mordo

This is a symbiote, a living organism. It must bond with you.

Cletus Kasady

And then... I get to be like Brock?

Baron Mordo

Similar, but different - as different as you are from Brock. Once you bond, it will reflect your hatred for humanity, your lust for destruction.

Cletus Kasady

I'll take it!

Baron Mordo

It must take you!

Cletus Kasady

[to the symbiote] Come on! What are you waiting for?! I am yours, man! [laughs] We're gonna wreak glorious carnage throughout the land!

Baron Mordo

Carnage, eh? I like the sound of that! You promised us carnage - deliver it!

What's wrong?

Kasady is gone! There is only CARNAGE!

Venom

[to Carnage] You may be our spawn, but that won't keep us from destroying you!

Baron Mordo

[appearing between them in astral form] Stop this petty squabble! The master commands you to bring back the interdimensional machine! The Dread Dormammu made you both what you are, and you agreed to help him. Do you dare go back on your word?!

The heck with my word, man! I'm gonna bring this back. [grabs the probe] I can't wait to see the horrors Dormammu's gonna commit when he gets here! [laughs]

Venom

[reluctantly] We must... keep our word.

Baron Mordo

Then hurry, you fools! [vanishes]

[to Venom] You were lucky this time. Mordo won't always be around to save your hide!

This is taking FOREVER! I got people to torment!

Baron Mordo

Transfer is almost complete.

And then we can say hello to Hothead-- I mean, Dormammu?

Baron Mordo

The urn is not yet full. We need the energy of a few more lives.

Only a few? Too bad... [laughs evilly]

Baron Mordo

[blasting at Iron Man] This is for meddling in my affairs!

Careful! They're some kind of mystic bolts!

Didn't think they were spit-wads!
