Kate Beckett quotes from Castle

Beckett

This is for the life I saved [pointing at the watch on her left arm which belongs to her father]. And. This is for the life I lost [picking at the ring which belongs to her dead mother].

Beckett

That was Joe freaking Torre!

Beckett

Charles, we have your fingerprints on a sarcophagus, so you can either start telling us the truth now, or after spending an afternoon in the holding cell, entertaining a meth addict through the violent phase of his withdrawal.

Beckett

[Watching Castle on tv] Wow! Camera does really add ten pounds... to his ego!

Beckett

Even on the worst days there's a possibility for joy.

Beckett

Do you have any idea how many people have sat across that table confess their sins to me? What makes you think you’re any different? Any smarter? [Turns around] You’ve only been in this room for one hour. But this room… This room has been my life. My home. [Turning back] And I will not let you sit there and let you lie to me in my own home.

Beckett

Hear that, Castle? Our suspect is an ex-con, a felonious monk.

Beckett

If I have to hear that confession one more time, I'm gonna shoot somebody.

Beckett

[Whispering] This is Detective Kate Beckett, and if you can hear me, I've been abducted. I'm in a white cube van, New York plates. We've been traveling for about 20 minutes. We've been making a lot of turns, but I think we're headed east. Captain Fowler, if you can hear me, this is seriously ruining my dinner plans.

Beckett

[addressed to Leone] Stop talkin', start walkin'!

Kate Beckett

[confronting Bracken during a television interview] I found the tape. I found it. It's over. Senator Bracken, you are under arrest for conspiracy, fraud, and the murder of my mother, Johanna Beckett.

Beckett

We're married. [holds up her wedding ring] Married people tell each other things.

Beckett

Oh my god, I haven't felt like this since I had pimples! I'm insecure!

Beckett

Backstabbing, adultery and betrayal. That is why I hate politics.

[to his daughter Alexis] I just want someone to come up to me and say something new.

Beckett

Mr. Castle?

[turning around holding a pen ready to give an autograph] Where would you like it?

Beckett

[holding badge] Detective Kate Beckett, NYPD. We need to ask you a few questions about a murder that took place earlier tonight.

Alexis

[taking the pen from him] That's new.
