Discipline always comes with a price.
S5 E17Red, White And Blue
We have to go back to the crime scene.
Why?
I want a taco.
RRisgby
Look on the bright side. In prison you won't have to pay for dates.
S5 E18Behind The Red Curtain
[Jane is at the hospital, watching Lennon's room. His cell phone rings.]
Hey, Lisbon.
Where the hell are you? Don't tell me you're at the hospital.
I'm not at the hospital?
We caught a case. You're needed at the crime scene.
I'll be there soon.
You're at the hospital, aren't you?
You told me to tell you I'm not at the hospital. What do you want? Make up your mind.
Get out of there. If Jason Lennon wakes up, and if he talks, and if he knows Red John's identity, Agent Kirkland and Homeland Security are perfectly capable of handling it.
I disagree.
You're playing with fire.
There are worse things to play with.
HSHomeland Security agent
[leading Jane out by the arm] This way, sir.
Yeah, I'm going. That's my arm! You have two of your own.
[he releases Jane's arm]
Thank you.
AAgent
How did you get in here? Who let you in?
[Sheila Pugliese smiles at Jane from behind the nurses' station as they pass]
Well, if I told you that, I wouldn't be able to get in when I come back, would I?
[Sheila takes a bite of a donut from the box on the nurses' station desk]
I don't know about this.
Oh, trust me. You'll have fun.
"Trust me. You'll have fun." Was there ever a more suspicious phase?
J.J., you have to live a little. You spend your days chasing paperclip thieves. When do you ever get the chance to nail a killer?
I'm happy to help... It's the performance aspect that concerns me.
What performance aspect? You go into a room. If someone says anything to you, you say, "Ha ha ha", or "Perhaps..."
Ha ha ha. Perhaps.
Good enough.
Would an accent help?
Eh... Keep it simple.
[Mandy calls Hanover, causing Dodge's phone to start playing its ringtone]
Excuse me. Your coat is playing the Fifth Symphony.
S5 E19Red Letter Day
Sorry. It was a welcome back gift.
Very thoughtful, Wayne.
How did you know it's from me?
I'm a homicide detective.
Don't you think it's odd Homeland Security's fascination with a California serial killer?
Everything about Bob Kirkland is odd.
Here we go Lisbon... Gossip.
Go ahead. Say it. Now you're supposed to say "say what?". And I say "you think I'm an idiot for buying Van Pelt that orchid". You know what? I'm glad I did. Cause now the ball's in her court. I'm gonna be so zen about this. The move's hers. I'm gonna be the reed that bends in the breeze.
You're still in love with her. But instead of telling her, you bought her a plant.
That's pretty zen though, right?
Beautiful orchid, Grace. Well chosen, Rigsby.
You're gonna touch all of them?
Haven't touched that one. I'm looking for poppy.
Lisbon took it. If you want poppy, grab the everything bagel.
Yeah, but it has all the other stuff on it. Like those onion scrubs, I mean what are the point of those?
All I see is problems.
All I see is bagels.
Just make a choice.
S5 E20Red Velvet Cupcakes
So you think he lied about the trip?
[over the phone] Well, I'm almost certain.
So if he's not white-water rafting, where is he?
Well, I don't know, but I'm sure you two will figure it out. And, Rigsby? Put the cupcake back.
[Rigsby places the cupcake he was holding behind on his back back on the counter]
