Rollins quotes from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

[about ultimate fighting] Fin, it's not just about a fight. It's the human spectacle.

Fin

I work in sex crimes every day. I get enough "human spectacle".

I would never hurt Tommy. He's my everything!

What's Ricky?

Everything else.

Sonny

There it is. St. Paul's.

That your church or your school?

Sonny

Both. K through 8th for me and my sisters, Mass every Sunday. I got my first home run right there.

We talking girls or baseball?

Sonny

Okay, okay. Ya'll said this is being videotaped, right?

Fin

It is.

Good. Maybe someday, maybe Dateline or Netflix wants to do a special on me.

So after 9/11, the case was put on the back burner?

More like, pushed off the stove. There was before and there was after, but during? So many tragedies unsolved.

When was the last time you saw Nina?

Five years ago. She came around asking for money, again, to put another hole in her arm. I told her, don't come around here anymore. I had already lost one daughter. I didn't wanna watch the other one just fade away.

I'm so sorry.

Don't be. I ran out of tears for her a long time ago.

These "he said/she said" celebrity cases are difficult to prosecute. He's gonna hire the best attorney that money can buy.

So we don't even try? She's a victim.

Benson

Rollins. No one said she wasn't victimized.

All I'm saying is, he's claiming to be a victim, too. This is gonna come down to a popularity contest just to get a jury to convict.

Everybody’s got monsters in their closet. The question is What do you want to do about it?

I want to evict the little bastard.

So whoever did this knew how to get rid of the DNA.

Sometimes an absence is a presence all in itself.

Carisi and I were talking, and we realized that marriage is a lot like a crime. You have motive and opportunity.

We figured that all we needed were witnesses.

We don't want to do this without all of you here.
