Joe Tessitore quotes from WWE Raw

Joe Tessitore

Spear! Could this be the moment?! Could it be?! For the first time ever, could Jey grab gold?! [Jey Uso hits the splash on Bron Breakker] Oh my, Wade! Here it is! [The referee counts three] Go ahead and Yeet! He did it!

Here is your winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Main Event Jey Uso!!!

Joe

How do you not love this?! A veteran who waited, whose identity was always tagged as "he's a twin, he's part of a tag team." [Jey exits the ring and enters the audience] And after 14 years, finally a singles champion! He is taking it to the people! They are celebrating! Jey Uso is the Intercontinental Champion!

Oh, tripped up. Dom's lining him up for a 619 and delivers it! [Dom climbs to the top turnbuckle]

Right to the jaw of Cena, and this is the big finale for Cena here in Boston! [Dom delivers a Frog Splash...]

Joe

Frog Splash! Myst-- [...only for Cena to catch him...] Ohh! Cena rolls right through with Dirty Dom in hand!! [...hoist him up on his shoulders and deliver a thunderous Attitude Adjustment] AA for the win! [Cena covers Dom and the referee counts to three. The bell rings and the crowd cheers wildly]

Here is your winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: John Cena!

Joe

The empty spot on the mantle place is filled! John Cena's a Grand Slam Champion!

Remember, it was a count-out victory that Maxxine Dupri had over Becky Lynch. [as Jessika counts, Becky starts to undo the top turnbuckle] And as she does that, she's undoing the top-- [AJ Lee's music hits, and she comes out] Oh, no, are you kidding me?! This place is gonna explode! AJ Lee!

Well, we haven't seen AJ Lee since WrestlePalooza, when she beat Becky Lynch in mixed tag! Becky Lynch has been talking trash online ever since, watch out! [Becky turns around, and Maxxine jumps off the top turnbuckle, delivering a crossbody]

Joe

High-flying crossbody! Maxxine Dupri! [Maxxine covers Becky and Jessika counts to three. The bell rings and the crowd cheers] Oh, my!!!! [Maxxine quickly rolls out of the ring and meets up with AJ]

We got a new champ!

Here is your winner and NEW Women's Intercontinental Champion: Maxxine Dupri!

Joe

It happened! It happened right here at MSG! [Jessika brings the Women's Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine as Becky stares in absolute disbelief]

It's a miracle! A thousand to one, outsider Maxxine Dupri just beat Becky Lynch and is now the Intercontinental Champion!
