You're bossy but you can also be a compassionate caregiver. Choji and Shikamaru, they're both so awkward and clumsy.
And make sure that you don't ever lose to Sakura, not in Ninjutsu or romance.
And Choji, you're a loyal thoughtful friend and a kind soul. In time you'll be a stronger Shinobi than anyone else so be more confident in yourself.
ChojiGot it.
And another thing. You might consider losing a few pounds.
Choji
I don't know if it's possible but I'll try to.
And finally, Shikamaru. With your razor sharp intellect you have the instincts of a great Shinobi. You are truly worthy of becoming Hokage, though you'll probably try avoiding it, since you'd find the job such a drag. All those games of Shogi and not once could I beat you. Which reminds me, remember when we talked about the king? [they flash back] Now I'm going to tell you who the king is. Lean closer.
But Asuma... so then that's why you...
[Last words] I'm counting on you Shikamaru. I know I said I quit, but I guess it doesn't matter anymore now. Could you get me one last cigarette? They're in my pouch.
[On Naruto] Jutsu that were beyond the Fourth Hokage are well within his command. I guess it's time to finally pass the torch. He's surpassed me. Can you sense it? You're the one who's always before his eyes inspiring him. It's you who makes him strong. You know that don't you Sasuke?
Choji
Think you can make it?
Alright everyone, we're heading back to the Leaf Village.
[last words] Defeated by a pack of brats. Incredible.
You did fight the First Hokage. No wonder you see us as brats, but it cuts both ways. To our eyes, you're just an old geezer whose time is over. So here you are dying, hugging the earth like a worm. One by one the next generation will catch up to you, and in the end they'll surpass you. [Kakashi finishes off Kakuzu]
Choji
Pa, you tried to save me.
Cry later, Choji. If you can still move, you must report about Pain's powers to Lady Tsunade and have her set up countermeasures.
Choji
But Kakashi sensei you-
Mourn later. You must hurry. Run!
Choji
But I can't just-
Don't let Choza's sacrifice be in vain!
Damn he's still- He's aiming for Choji!
Choji
Pa quick! Pa, thank you for everything you've done. Just you watch.
Run Choji! [he does] With the chakra I have left it's impossible to destroy his entire body. And if I use that Jutsu one more time, I'll exhaust all my stamina and chakra. Without a doubt, I'll... This information must get to those who still live. Right now this is the only way to save the Hidden Leaf Village! [uses Kamui]
Of course. He must have used that ocular Jutsu to divert that attack too.
[dying] Well it seems that this is it for me too, Obito, Rin. Obito, this is as far as it goes. Me being your eyes. I couldn't even protect Rin. I broke my promise to you. Please forgive me, Obito, Rin, Sensei. I guess I'll be joining you now.
Snap out of it, Choji! Stay focused! We aren't some little brats who need to be protected anymore! We're the protectors now! Do you want Asuma to murder his own child? Your idea of kindness is wrong!
Yeah Shikamaru is right, Choji. Just remember the piercings and what they stand for.
Quit whining and pouting, Choji! Remember, you're the 16th head of the Akimichi clan.
Choji
[flashback] Let's see... the symbol on the far right belongs to us, the Akimichi clan right? And the other two are...
The middle one's the Nara clan's, and the leftmost one is the Yamanaka clan's, three clans that use highly unusual secret ninjutsu. We've been combining our powers for many generations now and the three clans share a special relationship. To strengthen our union and protect our clans, the Sarutobi clan bestows ear piercings upon the three of us, and every generation the members of our clan swear an oath of loyalty on those earrings, so they're not just mere decorations son.
Choji
I thought it was just an oath, part of a ritual. Now I hereby swear as the 16th leader of the clan, I will pass on this oath entrusted to me by the 15th, and I shall carry it onto the 17th leader, my child to be. [flashback ends] Thank you Ino, and I'm sorry, but I'm okay now. You can go back. In order to protect the Yamanaka and Nara clans and the Hidden Leaf Village, I, Choji Akimichi swear to transform from a lowly caterpillar to a powerful butterfly and take flight!
Choji
It's time to change.
He grew wings without even using the pills!
[All of Naruto's friends are running to aid him]
Naruto. I've run after you my whole life. And even now here I am, still running after you. But when this war is over, I am going to run anymore. I'll stand with you. I'll hold your hand. And I'll walk with you by your side. So please Naruto, wait for me!
Naruto, it seems like ages ago I set my eye on you as my rival. You just hang tight against Madara til I get there!
I'll support you fully with my Ninjutsu, Naruto. And the reason is not necessary!
Naruto is doing well out there. Yeah he's reckless but despite the way he acts, sometimes he's actually pretty sharp and he can also be surprisingly resourceful.
Choji
People think that Naruto's dumb and I'm fat, but it turns out that really isn't the case at all. I guess appearances truly can be deceiving. You just wait, skinny Choji is coming to help out smart Naruto!
Although he isn't really a calm and collected strategist, but I am. And I'm coming to help you Naruto. Just hold on!
Dad, thank you! You relayed Naruto's mighty heart to everyone in the Allied Forces. And now we must bring true your prediction.
I hope that Guy-Sensei is all right and that he's protecting Naruto. Kakashi-Sensei is with him so they must be okay, but...
If it just wasn't raining, we could ride my Super Beast Scrolls drawings.
Stop complaining Sai, and pick up your speed. This is the time for each one of us to follow Guy-Sensei and Naruto's examples and exceed ourselves!
Yes, this is camaraderie. I have a really good grasp of it now thanks to you, Naruto.
Naruto, you saved the Hidden Leaf Village, and now you're trying to save the entire Shinobi World. We've always let you put the burden on your shoulders and trusted you to do the impossible, but this time no matter what you say, you'll have help. Not just from me, everyone will stand with you and fight together!
