(Flashback: Titus is banging on the door as Ken comes to answer it)

Titus (from outside): Dad, let me in! She kicked my ass again!

Ken (as he pulls in his injured son, in sotto voce): Shut up! I have a reputation in this neighborhood. (shouts out of the open door into the neighborhood): What's that you say, boy?! Your drug habit kicked your ass? Gonna have to send your butt to rehab! (Ken closes the door and turns back to his son): You tell anyone that munchkin beat you up, and I'll kick your ass!
