Elijah quotes from The Vampire Diaries

Elijah

Excuse me. To whom it may concern; you're making a big mistake if you think that you can beat me. You can't. You hear that? I repeat: you cannot beat me. So I want the girl, on the count of three, or heads will roll. Are we clear on this now?

Elijah

I'm a man of my word, Elena. I make a deal, I keep a deal.

Elijah

I'm an Original. Show a little respect.

Elijah

I don't really pursue younger women. It's a joke, Ric. Lighten up.

Elijah

If you so as much make a move to cross me, I'll kill you and kill everyone in this house.

Elijah

It's a common mistake, I'm told. And it's one I won't make again.

Elijah

I need some air. I'm still feeling a tad... dead. Come.

Elijah

I think the term you're looking for is...OMG.

Elijah

The curse of the sun and the moon is fake.

Elijah

You gave me your word, Niklaus.

Elijah

Where's Katherine, Elena?

Damon

I killed you! You were dead!

Elijah

For centuries now.

Elijah

However, I did have a little run-in with one of the brothers that killed me.

I assume he didn't live to tell about it.

Elijah

Actually, I spared him. (pauses) He'd die before he let anything happen to her; they both would.

Elena

You're trying to use me. To draw him out.

Elijah

Well, to do that, I need you to stay put and stop trying to get yourself killed.

Elijah

Do nothing. Do nothing, live your life; stop fighting. And then, when the time is right, you and I shall draw Klaus out together and I shall make certain that your friends remain unharmed.

Elena

And then what?

Elijah

Then I kill him.

Elena

Just like that?

Elijah

Just like that.
