Fernando, I-- [Ferny runs out of the shop, crying]

I want to talk to you about you hanging your hopes on an expensive gift, Piggley.

Ah, that magic growth stuff really works. It makes anything grow! Of course, there are a few side effects. [the fertilizer has grown Wiley to a giant size] But don't get me wrong. I can live with it.
You know, Mr. Hornsby told me that you have a lot of talent, Piggley.

Oh, yes. And I thought your story was very imaginative and exciting.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to give you an F, Piggley.

[Piggley has flipped his spoon on Miss Nanny's forehead.]
That was the straw that broke the camel's back for Mr. McGandry. Right then and there, he decided that children would not be invited to his fancy party after all. Ferny and I couldn't have been more thrilled about the whole thing, and I don't think the other children cared much about it one way or the other. Dannan, however, was very disappointed about this turn of events. Not that either Ferny or I even noticed at the time.

[about Molly's violin playing] Well, I say she stinks! I've heard better sounds come out of a donkey's nose! They should arrest you for crimes against music! [laughs evilly]
[In the last lines of the show, Grandpa Piggley is calling a grown-up Molly on the phone.]
