ArnoldI know i could eat ralphie's lunch and think up a good excuse on a full stomach?
ArnoldYou mean I was the field trip?!
[After the bus transforms into a bessy bug]
ArnoldWow! A bessy bus; now I've seen everything!
[Phoebe doesn't want to get off the bus of fear of Mr. Seedplot seeing them]
ArnoldMaybe you should have stayed home today, Phoebe.
ArnoldLet's just say our field trip made a real splash.
[The class is using Arnold's belt and a pinwheel to model their windmill machine]
ArnoldCan I have my belt back now?
ArnoldDing, ding, ding!
Arnold Matthew PerlsteinI Knew I Should've Stayed Home Today.
ArnoldNo one is better than Ms. Frizzle.
Oh, yeah? Prove it!
ArnoldStop The Bus!
Oh no, you don't! You just want to grab more stuff!
[to Carlos] Hey I'm just trying to help! If you want to play "Let's find Ms. Frizzle without a map"...!
[Janet, she storms off in a huff.]
FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE! THAT IS FINE WITH ME!
[Janet --after saying this-- takes a seat on to her planetary samples.]
[sighs and huffs] Hmph!
[Takes a seat on her planetary samples.]
ArnoldMs. Frizzle might be on Saturn. Couldn't she?
[Wanda is in control of the bus and says...!]
OK, ARNOLD! BUT IT IS YOUR DUTY TO KEEP YOUR CRAZY COUSIN UNDER CONTROL!
[Wanda --from offscreen-- runs to Arnold, scoops him up, gets him bound on his cousin Janet's lap, buckles him down with the seatbelt on his cousin's lap, and makes him sit there through the entire rescue mission for finding Ms. Frizzle. Arnold --happily-- totally agrees with Wanda's idea. And she --Wanda-- makes Arnold prevent any dangerous actions with their rescue mission. Then she runs back to the driver's seat.]
[Arnold is still sitting on Janet's lap. Janet is bound, not only with a seatbelt. That is, but also with Arnold over Wanda's insistence to control her. Cut to Janet who is still hugging Arnold on her lap because Arnold is still bounding her down.]
[struts] You see, cuz?! Uranus does not really do a thing for me! So you can get off of me! Okay?!
ArnoldSorry, Janet! But I need to stay on top of the situation!
[The bus has enough. And it drops out all of Janet's planetary samples. Janet then falls out from the bus's emergency exit door.]
THERE IS NO WAY I AM GOING HOME WITHOUT MY STUFF!
[Janet says she is not going home until she has her stuff. But Arnold, he says he is not going home until he has her. That is, as he --Arnold-- says...!]
ArnoldOh yeah? Well, there is no way I am going home without you!
IT IS PROOF! NOBODY IS GOING TO BELEIVE ME WITHOUT IT!
ArnoldI will believe you. They will believe you.
[Well, Janet still refuses. She thinks she would be happy if she is on Pluto. That is, so she can be there with her planetary possessions. And Arnold, he forces the issue. That is, as he says...!]
Arnold[angrily] JANET?! YOU WANT PROOF!? I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU PROOF! HERE IS PROOF OF WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO YOU IF YOU STAY HERE WITH YOUR STUFF!
[pleads] ARNOLD?! PLEASE NO!
[Despite Janet's pleads, Arnold --who shows Janet what happens if she was on Pluto with her stuff-- removes his helmet and it freezes him. After his head freezes, he turns into a block of ice. And a block of ice encases his head. This forces Janet to leave Pluto immediately. And Janet says...!]
Janet': [shocked] OH CUZ!
[The scene cuts to the inside of the bus. Janet forgets about her possessions --her planetary samples-- and grabs her cousin Arnold. Then she and the rest of the class all immediately carry Arnold back into the bus. And finally, Janet, she says...!]
[as she and the class are carrying Arnold] BACK TO EARTH! AND STEP ON IT!
[After Janet and the class rush Arnold and --successfully-- get him back on the bus, Ms. Frizzle steps on the engine. And the bus flies back to Earth.]
ArnoldField trip tip number 107: To avoid being eaten, become inedible. What does that mean?!
Class, Do I hear a suggestion to avoid digestion?
I might have made a mistake about that lizard. And I might have made a mistake about that jackrabbit. And I might have even made a mistake about that tortoise, but there's one thing I know I'm not wrong about.
ArnoldHow much you wish you'd stayed home today?
ArnoldAah! Yikes! Ah! All I've got to say is, If I meet anybody I can see through, I'm outta here.
Oh, Whoa. No need to be hasty, Arnold.
