The Berenstain Bears (2003) · Season 3
[sadly] I wish the weather was hot and sunny like yesterday.
[sadly] Me too. Why did the weather have to change?
[in unison] Now there's nothing to do.
I finished waxing our skis. They should be nice and smooth for today's skiing.
[opens the door and looks outside] I'm not sure if there's going to be any skiing today. It's raining. It started about ten minutes ago. It's coming down so hard, it's almost melted all of the snow.
Are you sure, Papa? Aren't the sparrows flying close to the unturned leaves or something?
Sorry. I'm afraid not.
[sadly] I was looking forward to our ski day together! Why couldn't the snow stay for one more day instead of all of this miserable rain?
Mama, you're the one who told us not to go wasting today wishing it was yesterday.
And you said we should go outside and enjoy what today has to offer.
Yes, I know. It's just that I was really looking forward to a family day of skiing. Now look at it out there! It's cold, wet, and miserable!
Whatever kind of weather will be having tomorrow, I know we're going to enjoy it.
[after falling into a thistle bush, Sister got burrs in her fur.] I didn't know it was a thistle bush.
Hey, you made the catch.
Oh, I wish there is another way to get all these burrs out, but...
I'm never falling into a thistle bush again, especially now that I'm gonna be bald.
You're gonna be bald?!
[while cutting Sister's fur] No. Sister is not going to be bald. That's the last of them. No burrs and no bald.
What about my ribbon?
You'll have to wait for your fur to grow back a bit before we can put the ribbon back in.
But I look silly without my ribbon!
Well, I think you'd look pretty as a picture, with or without it. [kisses Sister]
Picture? Oh no! It's picture day at school next week! Will my fur grow back by then, Mama?
Well, fur grows when it grows. You can't make it grow faster. You have to be patient
Okay. I'll try to be patient. But it's not going to be easy.
It's always a good idea to plan ahead and make a list of everything you might need so you won't forget anything.
I'll make a list.
[chuckles] You don't catch fish with a list.
[referring to Papa] Sometimes he's more of a cub than the cubs.
Would you like some cereal, Brother?
Um...
[Brother sees that Papa is eating his breakfast]
No thanks, Mama. I think I'll have some toast with honey and a cup of coffee.
I don't think so.
[last lines of the series]
Anytime. Your tool belt will be right here waiting.
