Scenes with Scott 264
[Kira is discouraged due to her failure at every practice try of siphoning electricity, and Scott gives her a pep talk]
Scott
I know you can do this. [He looks at the others] Anyone here think she can't?
[When no one speaks, Scott gives them a frustrated look, and the others start to give Kira reassuring expressions]
I was the one who put you in the plan.
[They all look at Malia, who remains silent for a long moment before finally replying]
[whispers] "I believe in you, too, Kira!"
[anxiously] I'm the one who's going to be locked in an electrical room with her!
[They all give Malia a look, and she sighs and turns to Kira]
[shakes her head] You guys are all crazy. We're gonna die.
[Scott has just entered Meredith's mind with his claws, which is allowing him to also enter Lydia's mind through their Banshee connection. Lydia is on her knees on the floor, clutching her head while Scott and Meredith watch worriedly]
She doesn't have much time.
Scott
What's happening to her?
She's being consumed by her power. Dr. Valack thinks it's worth it if she can answer the question.
Scott
What question?
Scott
She can answer that?
Not yet. Not until the screams in her head are loud enough to kill her.
Scott
[panicked] How do I get to her?
You can't. You won't be able to get past the mountain ash. But... someone else might be able to.
Scott
Who?
Scott
You mean Parrish?
[nods] They're connected. Find the Hellhound... and he'll find the Banshee.
[Scott and Liam have just found Parrish passed out in the stairwell. He's wearing only his tattered and burned cut-off shorts and is covered in soot]
Scott
Parrish? Parrish, hey. Can you hear me?
[confused] How did I get here?
[awkwardly] We don't know. We just followed the burning smell.
[Scott and Stiles have just showed up to the rehab center to visit Coach Finstock and convince him to coach the charity game]
So, why don't you guys get the hell out of here? I hate charity games. They're meaningless.
I don't think the charities would agree...
[sighs] What's it for this year?
Scott
...Cancer.
[exasperated] Against, Coach! Deeply against!
Yeah? Okay, well, I'm deeply not interested.
[Scott, Kira, Stiles, Malia, Liam, and Mason are all going over their plan for the evening]
Just out of curiosity, what if it doesn't work? What if we have to go up against this thing? I mean, I hate to bring up bad memories, but Scott's still healing from what Theo did to him.
Scott
[smiles] She's right. [He lifts his shirt and reveals that his wounds have healed] It happened the night we got Lydia out of Eichen House. I healed... when we were all together again. When we were a pack.
The Beast doesn't have a pack.
Scott
Not like us. We can do this, guys. No one dies tonight.
[Braeden, Malia, and Liam arrive to help Scott fight the Beast in the library. Braeden's shotgun shells eventually cause it to run off, and Liam and Malia help Scott stand to his feet]
You didn't seriously think you were gonna have a chance against that thing, did you?
Scott
[shakes his head] No. But I got its scent.
How stupid are we to be doing this?
Scott
We're not stupid-- we're desperate.
Scott
[sighs] Incredibly desperate.
[Theo is talking about the body in the tank that the Dread Doctors keep in their laboratory with Scott and Liam]
They called him Der Soldat. That's German for "The Soldier." I'm pretty sure he fought in World War II.
Scott
And he was a Nazi?
And an Alpha werewolf. The Dread Doctors were using him to prolong their lives. They've been doing it for decades. Actually, probably longer.
Who knows? But wherever they go, he goes, too.
[Theo, Scott, and Liam are walking through the woods to find where the Dread Doctors are keeping Mason]
Scott
Where is he?
[plays dumb] I thought we were looking for him?
Scott
You know who I'm talking about.
Scott
You shouldn't trust him.
And you're the one who let him live.
Scott
I'm not a murderer.
[laughs] You still think you're gonna get through all this without killing anyone?
Scott
[sighs] I didn't say that.
[The Dread Doctors have just arrived while Scott, Liam, and Theo are trying to free Mason from the medical device plugged into his skull]
Not a complete failure. We learned from you.
Scott
Theo, he's trying to get to you. This is what they want, don't give it to them. We can't beat them.
The mark of a true failure-- repeating the same mistake again and again.
[Theo wolfs-out]
We're taking Mason. Then, I'm taking what's mine.
You have the entitlement and narcissism typical of your generation. In that, you are a profound success. But your failure taught us one thing-- the banality of evil. That you were and would always be an ordinary evil.
[offended] You think I'm ordinary?
We believed that to resurrect the perfect killer, we had to start with the perfect evil. From you, we learned true evil only comes by corrupting something truly good.
Scott
[horrified] Not something.
Scott
Who the hell was that?
You've seen the Beast of Gévaudan-- that was the Man.
[Scott and Liam have brought the injured Surgeon to the animal clinic for Deaton]
Scott
Can you keep him alive?
I'm not sure he technically is alive.
[scoffs] Screw keeping him alive! How do we get him to talk?
Personally, I don't think we utilize torture nearly enough...
Scott
Maybe there's something in here. Something about how he was a genetic chimera.
Mason had a vanishing twin.
Now we've got a vanishing Mason.
What does that have to do with him turning into a 250-year-old French guy? How does that even happen?
