[Sonia's car jumps up as Goh, Raboot and Sobble experience the bumpy ride]

[Goh places his phone to his ear. Then, the camera cuts to Ash who is flying aboard his Dragonite]

You have a call from Goh. You have a call from Goh. [Ash takes it out] You have a call from Goh.
[answers] Hey, there, Goh. Where are you now?
[on the phone] YOU ANSWERED! Where am I? Where are you?!
I'm with Leon, and we're gonna stop the Dynamax Pokémon from rampaging.
[on the phone] With Leon?
[Cut to Goh]
[on the phone] Yeah. It's a long story...
My story's long to... I met up with Sonia and we're on our way to check out some ruins in Turffield.
[Flashback]
[voiceover] You remember! From Wyndon Stadium! The one we met in front of the hero statue.
[voiceover] [on the phone] Oh, yeah! Wasn't she researching some legend or something?

She sure was. She thinks that the rampaging Dynamax Pokémon in the Galar region have something to do with the very same hero legend. That's why she and I are going together to Turrffield so we can figure out the mysteries of that legend.
[Riolu is changing his appearance, growing pointy spikes on each backhand, growing a longer tail, growing two more ear flaps and growing taller. As the blue light fades away, Riolu has now evolved into Lucario and, with immense strength and power, pushes Copperajah and Ferrothorn off of him.]
Wow! Looks like Riolu evolved into Lucario! [pulls out his Rotom Phone]

Lucario, the Aura Pokémon. A Fighting and Steel type. Lucario uses a power called aura, which allows it to sense human feelings.
[thrusting his fist like he is punching his foe, then thrust his leg like he is kicking his enemy, then thrusting his other arm, and shows his determined strength after evolving from Riolu.] Raahh!
Yeah! Use Vacuum Wave! [Lucario turns to Ash as his aura connects to his trainer] Got it. Right with ya! Lucario, Aura Sphere! [Lucario conjures up a sphere of aura and launches it at Ferrothorn] One more time! Aura Sphere! [Lucario conjures up another sphere of aura and launches it at Copperajah, shocking Chairman Rose, who gasped in shock and defeat.] You did it, Lucario!
Rah. [Ash, Pikachu and Lucario head off to help Leon while Chairman Rose worryingly runs up to his defeated Ferrothorn and Copperajah.]
Chairman Rose: Are you all right?! Copperajah! Ferrothorn!
[Meanwhile, Raboot changes. After the blue light fades away, it's revealed that Raboot evolved into the Striker Pokémon: Cinderace.]
Did Raboot…? [his eyes widened in shock and excitement] EVOLVED?!?! [smiles in excitement and determination] YES!!! Haha!
GSGoh's Rotom Phone
Cinderace, the Striker Pokémon. A Fire type. Cinderace uses Pyro Ball to create a soccer ball of fire that it kicks at its opponents, often leaving them with a burn.

Cinder! [juggle kicks a pebble before setting it on fire.] Cin! Cin! Cinder! Cinderace! [kicks the Pyro Ball, hitting Milotic, defeating it, much to Oleana's surprise.]

No… [shows a defeated face] No way…
Cinderace, you were great! [gives Cinderace a high-five. Realizing that they're doing their routine like they did when it was a Scorbunny, Goh is happy and Cinderace gives its best friend a hug.] 'Kay, Ash, here we come!
Sonia
The legendary sword and shield. They weren't objects. They were actually Pokémon.
[Goh asks Sonia about what Leon is like]
Sonia
Let me see...He can't sit still when he sees a Pokémon, kind of like a really big kid who just loves all of them.
A kid who really loves Pokémon? You know, that sounds just like Ash.
[Goh questions Sonia about Leon's early life]
Sonia
I'll tell you. Leon didn't have many friends when he was small.
Sonia
He was probably too busy caring for his little brother [Hop] or doing chores which didn't leave him much time to play with his classmates. But I was his friend, so he saw me now and again. But one day, he befriended Charmander. And as he learned about Pokémon battles, suddenly friends, rivals, and all sorts of people surrounded him. I guess you could say that Pokémon truly expanded Leon's world!
[Leon summons Eternatus while showing it off to Ash and Goh, much to their shock]
Sonia

Yeah...[remembers Eternatus in the Darkest Day arc] I mean it was so over the top destructive. That was the reason I had Professor Magnolia take it.
Sonia
We decided for the time being, we'd keep it in a place deep underground below the lab. Things is, staying asleep all the time isn't much of a life.

Right. Eternatus has a deep connection to Galar particles. The energy that flows through the region, this is how Pokémon cannot be separated from the Galarian way of life. We must all learn to co-exist with Eternatus.
[recalls his Lucario] Lucario, return. You gave it all that you had. I already knew Leon's strong! Even if I'm ahead, he catches up!
