Dr. Lam

What's going on?

Teal'c

Gerak has arrived to assist us.

[Gerak pauses]

Teal'c

Why do you hesitate, Gerak?

Gerak

If I help you, I will die. But I will die free!

[Gerak slams the end of his staff to the floor; it begins to glow, the light eventually infusing the entire base. Gerak bursts into flames and disappears.]
