Anakin Skywalker quotes from Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Anakin Skywalker

Ahsoka, I am so sorry about everything.

Plo Koon

You have our most humble apologies, little 'Soka. The Council was wrong to accuse you.

You have shown such great strength and resilience in your struggle to prove your innocence.

This is the true sign of a Jedi Knight.

Mace Windu

This was actually your great trial. Now we see that. We understand that the Force works in mysterious ways. And because of this trial, you have become a greater Jedi than you would have otherwise.

Yoda

Back into the Order you may come.

Anakin Skywalker

They're asking you back, Ahsoka. [Holds out Ahsoka's padawan braid to her] I'm asking you back. [Ahsoka looks from Anakin to the padawan braid and back again before closing Anakin's hand around the braid. Anakin looks hurt]

Ahsoka Tano

I'm sorry, Master, but I'm not coming back. [leaves the temple. All the council members look hurt. Anakin walks out and goes after Ahsoka]

Anakin Skywalker

Ahsoka, wait! Ahsoka, I need to talk to you. [Catches up to Ahsoka, who stops and turns to Anakin. Anakin sighs] Why are you doing this?

Ahsoka Tano

The Council didn't trust me, so how can I trust myself?

Anakin Skywalker

What about me? I believed in you. I stood by you.

Ahsoka Tano

I know you believe in me, Anakin, and I'm grateful for that. But this isn't about you. I can't stay here any longer, not now.

Anakin Skywalker

The Jedi Order is your life. You can't just throw it away like this! Ahsoka, you are making a mistake.

Ahsoka Tano

Maybe, but I have to sort this out on my own, without the Council and without you.

Anakin Skywalker

I understand. More than you realize, I understand wanting to walk away from the Order.

Ahsoka Tano

I know. [She turns and Anakin watches her until she disappears down the steps of the Jedi Temple]

General Skywalker, thank you. Thank you for trusting me. Now, have you come without troops?

Anakin Skywalker

We have.

Put down your weapons, then!

Anakin Skywalker

I don't think so, Fives.

Please, sir, please. I'm unarmed.

(after Anakin sheaths his lightsaber) Alright, I'm putting my pistols down. (sets pistols down)

Anakin Skywalker

What are we here for, Fives?

I need your help.

Anakin Skywalker

I know you do. We know you're not well. It's been rough for you these past couple days.

I'm not crazy! Please, please--just, just--hear what I have to say.

Anakin Skywalker

We're here to help you, Fives, just come with us. Let us take you back to the temple. (Fives suddenly traps them in a ray shield) No!!

I just need you to listen to me, please!

Anakin Skywalker

I'm not really sure we have any other choice!

I was framed, because I know the truth! The truth about a plot, a massive deception.

By whom?

Well, there's a sinister plot in the works against the Jedi! I have proof of it! I can prove that everything I know is true beyond the shadow of a doubt!

Anakin Skywalker

Show me the evidence!

The evidence, is, (points to his head) in here, it's--it's in here, it's in all of us, every clone!

What is it?

Organic chips, built into our genetic code to make us do whatever someone wants, even kill the Jedi! It's all in here!

Anakin Skywalker

Let's just get you some help first, then we can review everything. You'll be okay, Fives. We'll sort this out.

AH, YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME!!!!!

Fives, we are listening to you. We only want to help.

How do I know you're not tricking me? How do I know it won't be a trap!? The chancellor will try to kill me! I promise you that!

Anakin Skywalker

The Chancellor?

He's in on it! I don't know to what extent, but I know he orchestrated much of this. He told me in the medical bay!

Anakin Skywalker

He told you, when you tried to assassinate him!? You have gone too far, Fives, the Chancellor is incapable of what you claim.

He is! I swear to you, General, you have no idea--

(come out of shadows with shock troopers) Stand down, soldier! Stand down! Get on your knees!

No, no, no! Stay back! (looks at Rex's gun)

Don't do it! Don't do it, soldier!

GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!!!!! (grabs and aims pistol)

Fives, no!

Fives! Fives! Fives...

Anakin Skywalker

Get this ray shield off! (a soldier shoots the ray shield; Rex attends to Fives)

Fives, brother. (to shock troopers) Call for help, we need a medic!

Rex.

Fives.

This, it's...bigger than any of us. Than anything I could have imagined. I never meant to....I only wanted to do my duty. (begins dying)

Brother, Fives. Stay with me, Fives. Fives!

The mission....the nightmares...they're...finally...over.... (dies in Rex's arms)

Fives, no, Fives, come on, Fives. Don't go, stay with me, stay with me, Fives. Fives! Don't go. No. Oh, no. [Commander Fox and his shock troopers remove their helmets and circle around him and Anakin]

Anakin Skywalker

Dooku! For once, you came to do your own dirty work.

Count Dooku

Sometimes, things are just that important.

Anakin

Padmé, I'm so sorry. We didn't anticipate the Outer Rim Sieges would last this long.

Padmé

That would be why they call it a siege, Anakin.

Anakin

I know, I just thought I--

Padmé

You just thought you could bring a swift end to the conflict single-handedly.

Anakin

Yeah.

Padmé

I love you, Ani.

Anakin

I love you too.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

What is Anakin doing in there?

Ah, he's spot-checking my gear, sir.

Still showing off, huh, General?

Anakin Skywalker

You know me, Echo.

Anakin Skywalker

Tell me the sequence to disarm the bomb!

Never. Dooku would kill me for losing Anaxes.

Anakin Skywalker

And you think I won't?

You're a Jedi. Your nobility--

Anakin Skywalker

[cuts off half of Trench's arms] I don't have such weaknesses! Now, let’s try that again.

Mace Windu

What is your plan?

Anakin Skywalker

Well, if it makes you feel any better, it isn't my plan.

Please tell me we are blowing something up.

Anakin Skywalker

Sorry, Wrecker, this is strictly stealth.

I hate that word.

Anakin Skywalker

I've got a present for you, Wrecker. [presents a detonator]

Oh, seriously? I get to blow it up? The whole stinkin’ thing?! [Anakin smiles and gives him the detonator] This is the happiest day of my life. [he presses the detonator, and the entire Separatist fleet over Anaxes explodes]

Anakin

What are you doing down there?

Obi-Wan

We are taking cover. Now get down!

Anakin

You're not serious. There's only a thousand droids down there, tops.

Anakin

I have come to surrender.

Battle Droid

Surrender? That's a relief.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Bravo, Anakin. You've done it again.

Anakin Skywalker

Oh, I can't take all the credit. Your state of helplessness really sold them on my surrender talk.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Always glad to help, my friend.

Anakin

All right, Admiral. What’s so important you brought us all the way back here?

Ahsoka

Hello, Master. It’s been a while.

Anakin

Ah… Ahsoka. Wha… I don’t believe it! How are you? Where are you? Are… Are you okay?

Ahsoka

I’m all right. Thank you. I wish we had more time to talk, but I have urgent information for both of you.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

If Republic forces aid you in your assault, it will break treaties that are 100 years old. We will effectively be drawn into yet another war.

Bo-Katan Kryze

What's one more?

Anakin Skywalker

Well, we're not finished with our first one yet.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

I will advise the Jedi Council of this development.

Bo-Katan Kryze

There's no time! Maul's influence on Mandalore is destroying my people! He murdered their ruler, my sister! I thought she meant something to you!

Obi-Wan Kenobi

She did. And still does. But I cannot allow my feelings to cloud my judgement.
