Ki-Adi-Mundi quotes from Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Good luck, General.

There is no such thing as luck.

Ahsoka Tano

So, Master, what was your total?

Anakin Skywalker

Not now, Ahsoka.

Ahsoka Tano

Come on. Are you afraid you lost this time?

Anakin Skywalker

Fine. 55, that's my count. And you?

Ahsoka Tano

60. Looks like I won.

Anakin Skywalker

Yeah, but I called in the air strike. Tie!

Ahsoka Tano

You're impossible!

Obi-Wan Kenobi

I'll never understand how you can simplify these battles into some kind of game.

Anakin Skywalker

Well, take care of yourself. I expect to see both of you back here by the time I've destroyed the main factory.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

We shall do our best.

65, Skywalker.

Anakin Skywalker

I'm sorry?

My total. 65. So, what do I win?

Anakin Skywalker

[exchange glances with Obi-Wan before looking back at Mundi and bowing in respect] My everlasting respect, Master Mundi.

Oh.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

That is a gift Anakin rarely bestows, I assure you.

Luminara Unduli

The cargo ship failed to check in on schedule. I attempted to contact them. There is no reply.

Anakin Skywalker

I don't like it. Something's up.

Luminara Unduli

It is certainly most unlike either Padawan to lose contact.

Anakin Skywalker

They're in trouble.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Anakin, have faith in your Padawan.

Anakin Skywalker

She would have checked in.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Like you always do?

Anakin Skywalker

Good point.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Sometimes I don't think you realize how alike you two have become.

[clears throat] We need to continue our interrogation of Poggle.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Yes, agreed. He's being most uncooperative.

Anakin Skywalker

[to Captain Rex] Keep your ears open in case Ahsoka calls.

Got it.

Yoda

Padawan Tano, serious charges have been levied against you. How plead you?

Ahsoka Tano

Not guilty, Master. I would never take the lives of innocents. The values of the Jedi are sacred to me.

The evidence is to the contrary. You were alone with Letta Turmond when she died. Can you explain this?

Ahsoka Tano

Someone used the Force against her.

Plo Koon

Which brings us to Ventress. Can you explain your association with her?

Ahsoka Tano

We had a mutual understanding. I thought she was helping me.

Mace Windu

Did she help you acquire the nano-droid weaponry found when you were apprehended, the same devices used in the bombing of the Temple?

Ahsoka Tano

No. I was set up and deceived, as you are being deceived now.

Mace Windu

The question is, Padawan Tano, who is deceiving us: Ventress, you, or someone else?

Ahsoka Tano

I am not deceiving you! I would assume Ventress is, but I can't be sure. My sense is… clouded.

Yoda

Clouded by the Dark Side these things are, Padawan Tano. Dangerously clouded, but not just surrounding you, surrounding many things in these times.

Anakin Skywalker

You've already made your decision, haven't you?! This meeting is just a formality!

Yoda

[sighs] Reached a decision we have, though not in total agreement are we.

Mace Windu

It is the Council's opinion that Padawan Ahsoka Tano has committed sedition against the Republic. And thus, she will be expelled from the Jedi Order. [Ahsoka looks up in shock]

Anakin Skywalker

You can't do this! [tries to butt in, but is held back by two temple guards]

Your Padawan status will be stripped from you, and you shall forfeit all rank and privileges within the Grand Army of the Republic. You will be turned over to the Republic courts to await your trial and whatever punishments they will set for you. [A guard snaps Ahsoka's padawan braid off her head as tears cloud her eyes] Henceforth, you are barred from the Jedi Order.

Anakin Skywalker

Ahsoka, I am so sorry about everything.

Plo Koon

You have our most humble apologies, little 'Soka. The Council was wrong to accuse you.

You have shown such great strength and resilience in your struggle to prove your innocence.

This is the true sign of a Jedi Knight.

Mace Windu

This was actually your great trial. Now we see that. We understand that the Force works in mysterious ways. And because of this trial, you have become a greater Jedi than you would have otherwise.

Yoda

Back into the Order you may come.

Anakin Skywalker

They're asking you back, Ahsoka. [Holds out Ahsoka's padawan braid to her] I'm asking you back. [Ahsoka looks from Anakin to the padawan braid and back again before closing Anakin's hand around the braid. Anakin looks hurt]

Ahsoka Tano

I'm sorry, Master, but I'm not coming back. [leaves the temple. All the council members look hurt. Anakin walks out and goes after Ahsoka]

Anakin Skywalker

Ahsoka, wait! Ahsoka, I need to talk to you. [Catches up to Ahsoka, who stops and turns to Anakin. Anakin sighs] Why are you doing this?

Ahsoka Tano

The Council didn't trust me, so how can I trust myself?

Anakin Skywalker

What about me? I believed in you. I stood by you.

Ahsoka Tano

I know you believe in me, Anakin, and I'm grateful for that. But this isn't about you. I can't stay here any longer, not now.

Anakin Skywalker

The Jedi Order is your life. You can't just throw it away like this! Ahsoka, you are making a mistake.

Ahsoka Tano

Maybe, but I have to sort this out on my own, without the Council and without you.

Anakin Skywalker

I understand. More than you realize, I understand wanting to walk away from the Order.

Ahsoka Tano

I know. [She turns and Anakin watches her until she disappears down the steps of the Jedi Temple]
