Amanda?

Yes, Mother?

Somebody's here to see you.

Oh, really? Who -- Oh, uh, Mother, this is Miss Desmond, she's one of my pet-sitting clients, I take care of her ... chimpanzee.

Oh, really?

Mm-hmm.

Well, won't you sit down? Oh, I just thought it was awfully enterprising when Amanda told me that she was going to start this service, taking care of people's pets and plants. I mean, it's not exactly what I had in mind when she went to college, but, I mean after all, what does one do with a degree in American lit?
