Give those creeps who stole the shuttle!
Like your Lunatone and Solrock to be exact!
This robot was built a specially for catching Lunatone and Solrock, and it's called the Globo Robo Extendoarm Greenmeanie CageClaw.
That's got to be the worst name ever.
Can we just call it robot for short?
Why don't you get outta here, we're in the middle of an important gym battle!
Well, look at that hole, our Dad's gonna be furious!
Good surprise attack, but it'll take more than that to break our combination defence!
TTate
Anything else up your sleeve, Ash, or is that it?
Guess I'm not going to win by tricking 'em. There has to be something I haven't thought of, but what? [Looks at the sky and sees clouds] That's it! Of course! It's my best shot! I just got to trust my Pokémon's inner strength! Pikachu, use Thunder!
Fine, we'll block it again with Light Screen!
That's what I was hoping you'll do!
[Tate and Liza are confused by Ash's reaction]
[Pikachu uses Thunder to strike the clouds causing the Thunder to strike both Swellow and Pikachu. Uhhh...Ash, are you sure that's a good idea?]
TTate
Why did he do that?
Maybe he's just given up?
Hang in there, you guys! I know you can pull through it!
I think they're storing up electricity in their bodies.
But Swellow is a Flying-type!
I know they want to do this for Ash, but couldn't it hurt them?
[Both Pikachu and Swellow are encased in Thunder]
I can't believe that work!
TTate
They're using Thunder as armour! [Yes, people, it's Thunder Armour! How does that work?!]
Great battle, Ash! Your Pokémon absorbed that Thunder with no fear of damage to themselves. [Yet it's a bizarre method]
TTate
My sister and I have both learned a lot just from watching you battle.
I guess we still need to work on our combinations more, huh? [Tate nods his head in agreement]
Come on, you guys almost had me with all those combination attacks right from the beginning.
Yeah, your coordination was pretty good once you two got in sync. [This is one of Tate and Liza's flaws in their battlestyle]
I can see how you two became the Gym Leaders here.
BTBoth Tate and Liza
Oh, wow, thanks.
[to Tate] Well, do you have something for Ash, Tate?
TTate
Yep. [He opens up the small box in his hand to deliver Ash his 7th Hoenn Gym badge.]
TTate
This is a Mind Badge, proving that you were victorious at the Mossdeep Gym.
