Ash Ketchum quotes from Pokémon

I can't believe Team Rocket would even pull a stunt like this.

Gible, watch out for that tongue!

Gliscor, just relax and use Stone Edge!

Alright! I caught a Snivy! [Both Pikachu and Pidove jump into the celebration as well]

Huh? Could have sworn I've heard that before.

[voiceover] Cilan and the Case of the Purrloin Witness!

SHE SAID THAT WE'RE THROUGH! THAT'S THAT!!!

[As soon as Unfezant, Leavanny, Palpitoad, Boldore and Krookodile arrive, he sends out the remaining members of the Unova team] Come on out, gang! [Charizard, Pignite, Snivy, Scraggy and Oshawott appear and begin meet and greet with Pikachu and the rest of the Unova team.] Everyone, Unova was great. Thanks alot. [The crew responds with their version of "You're welcome!"] All of you battled hard in the Unova League. You're the best! [The crew responds postively, even though Charizard rejoined Ash after the Unova League] We may not have gotten first place but our journey together made us a whole lot stronger and that's what really counts.

Hold on! Now I remember! You're the girl with the straw hat!

Now, I'll wrap this up with my favorite move! Pikachu use Thunderbolt! [Pikachu does so, viciously electrocuting Tyrunt. The rock lodged in Tyrunt's mouth explodes causing Tyrunt to fly backwards and crash into a boulder and faint. That's what happens when you over-rely on your signature move, Rock Tomb, Grant.]

WHY YOU! Hey, that's enough Ursaring! Stop it! [Note: This story element is extremely tiresome! Every time Ash has to run into a wild Ursaring, he would either run from it or fight it off! Why not just catch it, Ash?!]

You're strong alright, but I'm just gonna have to beat you so I can get out there. I didn't make it to the Kalos League for nothing, you know. [All eight Kalos Gym leaders are shown with their badges: Viola and her Bug Badge, Grant and his Cliff Badge, Korrina and her Rumble Badge, Ramos and his Plant Badge, Clemont and his Voltage Badge, Valerie and her Fairy Badge, Olympia and her Psychic Badge, Wulfric and his Iceberg Badge] I've got a lot of memories associated with each and every Gym badge I've won. Get ready for this, I'll show you what they all mean.

Muk, it's great to see you again. [Muk continues smothering Ash. Don't suffocate your trainer, Muk!]

[after thinking about what Olivia said about travelling the world to improve his skills, as well as realizing that his Alola journey is drawing to a close] I've got it! I've decided I want to go out and see the world! [Rotom Dex is confused] Pikachu, what do you say we go home? [Pikachu eagerly jumps onto Ash's shoulder] The world has more awesome things for us to see. There are tons more Pokemon out there! [Pikachu eagerly agrees to head into another new adventure. Keep in mind that because Ash officially won a League and is an official Champion, having Ash compete in more region Leagues after that would have been seen not only as a repetitive and tiresome storyline but also as a permanent regression in Ash's skills as a trainer.]

[about Greninja] When I came to Kalos, Froakie was the first Pokémon I caught. On our journey, we got stronger and stronger. One time, we had a fight because I tried too hard to win a battle...but we made up. Eventually, we took part in the Kalos League and after that, Greninja wanted to protect Kalos, so it stayed behind. [Nice story, but why did the writers ignore the Ash-Greninja form? Also, Zygarde appears to be written out of this series due to irrelevance. Also, no mention of Team Flare?]
