Ami Onuki quotes from Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi

Ami

Truth or dare?

Yumi

Truth.

Yumi

We couldn't let you be the only one on the bus who has to lose weight. We're a team, remember?

Ami

After all, we are called Puffy AmiYumi.

Yumi

Sorry for the Puffy joke, folks, but after 117 episodes, you get a little desperate.

Yumi

Isn't this copyright infringement?

Ami

You got a better idea!

Yumi

Those cartoon makers, they make me so mad!

Ami

Oh, don't worry about them, Yumi. Everything turned out alright in the end. Didn't it, Kaz?

Bye bye boo!

Ami

So how about that? Now we know who killed disco... us!

Kaz

I decided to keep the shoes. I think they make me look tall. Uh, I mean more distinguished.

Yumi

And if disco ever comes back, we can count on Kaz to kill it all over again.

Ami

Dead battery! Oh, no!

Yumi

Aw, chill out, Ami, it's okay.

Yumi

And then one day, Julie tearfully left us.

Ami

Before we become Puffy Ami-nesia, let's remember she left because I was about to kick her out of the band!

Yumi

You know I understood what you had against her.

Ami

[sarcastically] Gee. I don't know.

Ami

Now do you believe she's out to get me?

Yumi

Give her another chance, Arthur.

Ami

It's Ami!

Yumi

We can't have a reunion special unless we... reune with someone.

Ami

So you think this special is more important than me?

Yumi

I didn't say that.

Ami

So we can get rid of Julie?

Yumi

I didn't say that either.

Ami

Fine! Then you two can have your stupid Puffy Julie AmiYumi reunion without Ami! [storms out the bus]

Look at them, keyboard guitar! So much for Puffy ArthurYumi!

Ami

No Julie, It's Ami, you nitwit!, It's not fair!

See, keyboard guitar? Now the whole world knows who the real star is!

[shocked to see the audience booing her] That's not love! That's mean!
