Butch Gilzean quotes from Gotham

Barbara Kean

This woman, Isabella. Nygma said she was a librarian, right? Well, who kills a librarian? I mean, what's the motive?

Butch Gilzean

I dunno. Maybe someone had an overdue book and things got out of hand.

Butch Gilzean

Hiya, Fish. How you been?

Fish Mooney

Well, let's see: I was alive, then I was dead, then I was alive again. Things are looking up.

Dr. Leslie Thompkins

Where's Babs?

Butch Gilzean

What do you want with her?

Dr. Leslie Thompkins

That's none of your business, errand boy.

Butch Gilzean

What did you call me?

Dr. Leslie Thompkins

Sorry. You're not an errand boy. You're more of a shoeshine boy. Did she give you a little stand in front, cute little hat? That's more your speed.

Oswald Cobblepot

How much longer are these petty aggressions going to continue?

Butch Gilzean

There is nothing petty about my aggression!

Butch Gilzean

You starin' at me? Yeah, I get it. Sometimes, I accidentally catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. It scares me, too. And then I get angry. The longer I'm like this, the angrier I get. Right now, the way I see it, you are preventing me from finding the cure, and that makes me very, very angry.

Oswald Cobblepot

Is your plan to gain his sympathy by reciting your tale of woe?

Butch Gilzean

Nah. Just wanted to get him to pee his pants a little in terror. You want me to shove some chicken bones up his nose 'til he squawks?

Oswald Cobblepot

Yes, that will do.
