“Unfinished Business” quotes from Criminal Minds

[to a man inside the car] Get out of there, numbnuts!

[disapprovingly] Herrmann!

Sir, please step out of the vehicle, if you'd be so kind.

I don't know what's going to happen, Matt.

Yeah, that's why they call it the future.

Hey friends. I'm aware of your sidearms. I have one of my own.

We're diplomatic protection with a legal right to bear arms in this country.

Not today. I'm going to take your weapons from you. This isn't a question. If you do anything that makes me the least bit uncomfortable, I will end you. Do you understand?

Severide

Damn Dawson, you look like hell!

(laughs) I'm not 100% sure I'm not dreaming.

[after Newhouse is introduced to the men] Do we tell him the new guy at 51 job is jinxed?

Otis

Maybe he'll be the one to break the streak.

[takes Casey's jacket off] Um Is there any chance you might want to lie still and let me drag you across the apparatus floor? I think you're, like, just about dummy weight.

Nope, I'd rather not. Wouldn't be good for my "tough lieutenant" rep.

[chuckles] Is that your rep?

[smugly] Mm-hmm.

I thought it was "hot lieutenant".

Hey, we've been working with guys since we started in CFD. Yeah, we had to prove ourselves every day and let plenty of stuff roll off our backs, but I can handle that.

This place is different. I know you felt it too. It's stone age.

So. You comin' back to 51?

Severide

The house is cursed, Casey. There's nothing but misery and heartbreak there.

Gabby, will you marry me?

Yes, yes, yes, yes.

You'd be willing to put me in harm's way?

I'd assign you any task I think you're capable of.

And if I stepped out of line, you'd discipline me?

With great enthusiasm.

Mouch

Thought I'd make a plate for Trudy. Her appetite for all things is insatiable.

I owe you an apology, about my wedding.

Oh, hey, woman to woman? You gotta do what you gotta do to survive. I get it.

Thanks.

So what are you gonna do, huh?

Well, I have to see him, because I...I kinda stole his car.

Stole?

As in full-on grand theft auto. Mine was in the shop and I needed to get out, so...

Wow.

You know, how you spend your time off shift, that's your business. But people in this house count on you.

Severide

You know what I can count on? Nothing. No one. So why don't you and everyone else in this house just leave me alone.

Kelly. Can I talk to you for a second? You made me listen to you when Hallie died. Now it's your turn. I loved Hallie. I thought we'd be together forever. I still think I'm gonna bump into her in a store, or she's gonna call me out of the blue or something. Truthfully, as screwed up as that is, I love that feeling. [looks at Severide] Listen. This house needs you. And whether you like it or not, you need this house.

[takes a pot of stew to Otis] Ok, I need a volunteer.

Otis

No way. Ugh!

I'll try it.

[grins] Sylvie! [hands her a spoon]

No, no!

[takes a sip and gags] Tangy.

Dominican sausage and peppers.

Dude, if you keep calling your food "Dominican", I am going to have to kick your ass on behalf of an entire country.

Who's gonna be the cook?

Otis

Hey, listen, I've got a cousin... [Cruz glares at him] ....really nice Russian girl––

No more cousins from you.
