How are the energy cuffs, Dumbozo? Comfortable?
Ben Tennyson
He wouldn't. It was too funny. Anyway, your ride's here.
He's wanted for level weapons-dealing. He's all yours, officer.
APAlpha Plumber
Tennyson, Tennyson, and Levin, right? [holds up his badge and opens up a message]
That doesn't look like a medal.
[reading the message, translating in English] "Because you received your Plumber commendations during a field engagement, your required training is incomplete. Please report to Academy 2814 for field certification courses."
Ben Tennyson
Wait. We have to go to school? What is the Plumber Academy gonna teach us? It's not like we haven't saved the whole entire universe already.
Give it a rest, Tennyson. If this is what it takes to keep our plumbers badges, then this is what we'll do.
TTack
Tennyson? You are Ben Tennyson, hero of the Highbreed wars, conqueror of Vilgax?
Ben Tennyson
Yeah. Hi.
TTack
It is because of you that I go to Plumber Academy. My name is Tack.
Ben Tennyson
Um, what are you doing?
TTack
Greeting you reverentially.
Ben Tennyson
I thought it was a really slow head butt.
This is awesome! Look at the classes we get to take: Weapons and Tactics, Interstellar Law, Cultural Sensitivity.
Started strong, but then you lost me.
…Starship Maintenance. (Kevin smiles)
Ben Tennyson
And you got him right back.
I wouldn't mind learning about those sweet foldspace engines they're putting in the new cruisers.
Ben Tennyson
Classes... too much like school.
TTack
This is like no school any of us has ever attended. I heard that our drill instructor is the meanest, toughest plumber in the service.
Ben Tennyson
Except for my grandpa.
TTack
All due respect to your grandfather, Magister Hulka is the most decorated officer in plumber history, and he expects no less than excellence from his students. But surely he has never had a pupil like the great Ben Tennyson.
[The trio and Tack arrive at Plumber Academy 2814]
Surely. I think our barracks are this way. I can't get a signal.
TTack
Plumber badges don't work on campus. It's against the rules to use them.
Ben Tennyson
Good thing they're not grading on following directions, huh, Tack?
TTack
[chuckles] You are funny, Ben Tennyson. [bumps into Senior Cadet Brannigan]
BBrannigan
Eyes forward, you larval dipteroid!
BBrannigan
There's been a Null Void breakout. So Magister Hulka wants all new recruits in their bunks and accounted for. You don't want to make him and me mad on the same day. Do we understand each other, larval dipteroid?
Ben Tennyson
Brannigan, you just bought yourself a nose full of Humungousaur! [activates the Ultimatrix]
[grabs Ben's hand, stopping him] We're going Tennyson. You're not getting us thrown out of here on the first day.
Ben Tennyson
Wait. You're holding me back? [glares at Brannigan as they walk away]
BBrannigan
Any time, any place.
Ben Tennyson
[mocking Brannigan as they arrive at their barracks] "Ooh, I'm an Alpha squadron. Look at me!" [normally] I should've gone all Armodrillo on him. No… Fourarms!
You should have walked away, which you did, thanks to Kevin.
Ben Tennyson
Yeah, way to have my back, Kevin!
Keeping your plumber's badge may not matter to you, but it does to me.
Don't mess this up for him.
I can't believe I only scored a 98.
Ben Tennyson
Out of a hundred, Gwen. Try and unclench.
It only takes a 72 to pass which I exceeded. How about you, Ben?
Ben Tennyson
95. People think I'm not paying attention, but I am.
My 98 is starting to look really weak.
Ben Tennyson
This is me not paying attention.
Ben Tennyson
Are you...?
B1Ben 10,000
That's right Ben, I'm you. Only even more awesome. [after shaking Ben's hand] Ben 10,000 at your service.
I've heard about you, you're the jerk from the future.
B1Ben 10,000
I'm a different Ben 10,000, but I do remember going to that future back when we were ten. What a buzzkill that guy was!
Ben Tennyson
You're my real future?
Yes. If nothing occurs to change it. That's why I've - bent the rules of time and brought you here
[Ben 10,000 saves the Rust Bucket from crashing]
You just landed a spaceship!
B1Ben 10,000
From the outside. Don't forget the cool part.
Ben Tennyson
How do you do that without transforming?
B1Ben 10,000
I haven't bothered to for years. Not since I discovered my best transformation.
Ben Tennyson
What power comes with that?
B1Ben 10,000
Pretty much all of them. You'll figure it out someday.
Time to go. But first, a warning to my young friends. [In an ominous voice] Beware, old George. Beware the creature from beyond. [Cheerfully] So long.
What did he mean by that?
Who knows? I never understand what he's saying. I just tune him out.
Ben Tennyson
Whatever the problem is, I've got Ultimatrix to spare. It is so hero time!
Eon irradiated Way Big with accelerated time. I'm afraid he's gone.
B1Ben 10,000
So is any other transformation he hits with that beam. Be careful, Ben.
Ben Tennyson
He's the one who better be careful.
USUltimate Swampfire
Ultimate Swampfire! Take them down hard! Hyah!
Tennyson, prepare to die.
USUltimate Swampfire
Maybe later.
USUltimate Swampfire
Right behind you. How about you explain yourself? Why attack me over and over?
Our paths are intertwined. In this and every other timeline. It's over.
B1Ben 10,000
Give it your best shot, Eon. Diamond doesn't particularly age.
I came here to destroy your younger self, but plans can change.
B1Ben 10,000
Contego! You hang around an Anodite for twenty years, you pick up a few tricks.
Weird that they don't talk.
Probably just to intimidate them.
Maybe. Makes me curious, though.
Then let's take a look. Statua!
It's gonna be creepy. I bet they don't even have mouths.
Ben Tennyson
[when discovering that Eon's servants are versions of him] This raises some questions.
Yeah, like where did you learn ninjitsu?
You've discovered our secret.
B1Ben 10,000
You're not destroying Ben Tennyson's. You're absorbing them.
I feed on their power and make them my slaves. When I absorb you, I'll finally have the strength to replace this timeline with a new one. [Ben 10,000 revealed with Eon's mask] Where I will be the only Ben Tennyson that exists.
Ben Tennyson
[Trying to fit the equipment into the Rust Bucket] How did you fit all this stuff in here?
Gradually. I haven't done spring cleaning in the Rustbucket since I got her.
Except for when I blew it up… which I probably shouldn't mention.
Just help carry the boxes outside and stack them up.
Ben Tennyson
[unable to lift the box] Ehhh… Heavy!
Not if you take them one at a time.
Ben Tennyson
I've got a better idea. [activates Ultimatrix]
KGKevin, Gwen and Max
Ben!
You're too big to be in here!
[sounds of glass breaking]
Sorry, sorry. I'm going. [gets stuck in the door and is kicked out by Kevin] Thanks a lot, Kevin!
Oh, that shouldn't be in there.
I'd let you have anything, sweetheart, but that bracelet has a lot of meaning to me.
Why do you have a woman's bracelet?
It's not exactly jewelry, Gwen. It belonged to your grandmother. Long story. [the team sits down. Max sighs] I was about Kevin's age. A rookie with the Tactical Air Command.
Perhaps you could enlighten us, Colonel.
Sorry, Max. It's above your paygrade.
Ben Tennyson
Then my grandfather gets a raise right now or we walk!
You're gonna let him talk to me like that, Max?
I'll let him know when he says something I disagree with... Okay, then.
[Everyone turns to leave]
Ben Tennyson
What's it holding?
Alien combatants who landed on earth over the years.
Four, maybe five... Decades.
Ben Tennyson
You've had people in there for 50 years?!
Not people -- Aliens, held on suspicion of being a threat to planetary security.
Ben Tennyson
I'm gonna see what's down there.
It's impossible. No one can get in or out.
Ben Tennyson
We'll see.
(Ben transforms into Big Chill)
Big Chill! (he passes through the floor)
(to Cooper) When he shouted his name just then, did it strike fear into you?
I'm trying not to throttle you. This "holding facility" of yours is nothing but a prison. Earth is a level 2 world. And a provisonary signatory of the Kelly-Casey Accords. You have no rights --
Rights? You want to talk to me about rights with all the alien terrorists you've fought? You know the dangers they present. You should be thanking me.
The aliens we fight get turned over to the proper authorities. Being stuck in a hole forever with no due process --
We do what needs to be done, and I sleep better at night knowing my family is safe.
Ben Tennyson
You won't believe it. There's hundreds of aliens down there, crammed into cells.
[Prisoner 775 breathing raggedly]
Ben Tennyson
The security system was down, but I rebooted it.
[Prisoner 775 panting]
Ben Tennyson
Grandpa, the conditions down there -- It's inhuman.
That's because they're not human. We're not running a hotel.
You're not running a prison, either -- Not anymore. You're going to release them to the Plumbers, colonel, for proper processing. They'll be freed when warranted or else made to stand trial.
Ben Tennyson
All 774 of them.
It's not only right, it's justice -- Long delayed, but still --
No. I mean your count isn't right. There's 775.
Ben Tennyson
That's not what your electronic tote board said. Then there's one missing.
Kevin: Yeah, this one's going into the highlight reel.
(Ben helps an officer get up and sit)
[Officer groans]
[Officer groans]
OOfficer
My daughter's nuts about you...
Ben Tennyson
Yeah? Is she's cute?
Ben Tennyson
Sorry. Reflex.
Did an alien do this to you? We followed a trail of property damage. It was pretty tough to miss.
OOfficer
He came charging right at me. Bullets didn't slow him, and he said he was gonna kill me. And I-I--
OOfficer
I begged. I begged him to let me live. He looked at me a long time. Then he asked me if I had a family. I told him yes, and he walked away. Don't tell anyone that I--
That you said whatever you had to so you could see your family again?
Ben Tennyson
The town, on the other hand-- Not so much.
Hey! Looking for a fight? Today's your lucky day!
[Ben tries to transform]
Ben Tennyson
Uh, Goop? [Transforms into Humungousaur]
Humungousaur! Hah! Finally! Okay, no one has to get hurt. [Prisoner #775 pushes a car towards him, it slams into Humungousaur's leg] Wow, a little car. [Slams it away] You'll have to do better than- [Prisoner #775 pushes a truck towards him.] Oh, truck!
P7Prisoner 775
I'll never go back there! Rrrah!
P7Prisoner 775
Years I spent -- Years! I did nothing!
P7Prisoner 775
Nothing will ever be okay... Again!
He's slippery. Not sure... How long... I can hold him!
Kevin, hold on. What did you mean about nothing being okay?
Colonel Rozum says you're a terrorist.
P7Prisoner 775
On my home world, I fought against an oppressive dictator. It was his forces who exiled me to this backwater world. I explained this to your air force a hundred times. They did not believe me!
The plumbers will listen. They'll send you home.
P7Prisoner 775
I no longer have a home. While I rotted away in your prison, the revolution was lost! My mate, my children - gone - all gone. This is nothing left to live for.
There's always something to live fore. You could even the score.
Ben Tennyson
Absolutely. You could seek justice.
P7Prisoner 775
Justice? Yes. Those who wronged me should die - beginning with Colonel Rozum.
P7Prisoner 775
Even better-- His entire family. He will feel the pain I have felt.
I don't know where he went. I--
Ben Tennyson
Don't, Gwen! It's a trick!
"You could even the score"? Nice one, Kevin.
I didn't hear anybody disagreeing.
We've got a problem. Prisoner number 775 isn't running anymore. He's hunting.
He's going after Colonel Rozum?
But the colonel's not here. He flew back to Patrick air force base in Florida.
We've got to assume that's where the prisoner's headed, too.
Ben Tennyson
We have to protect Rozum.
And his family. That's where he's stationed, so they live there.
The Rustbucket III can still beat Rozum back to the base.
Ben Tennyson
We can be waiting there when he arrives and catch the prisoner when he tries.
Then the three of you get going. I'll call ahead and get you clearance.
Ben Tennyson
We wait. Grandpa radioed Rozum. He knows what's happening. His plane will be here in 45 minutes.
Guys, is there any chance that the prisoner could have chameleon-like powers that would let him blend in with backgrounds so that he's practically invisible?
He could be anywhere on the base. How do we find him?
Ben Tennyson
We track his scent. [transforms into Wildmutt]
[deep voice] Wildmutt! [Wildmutt and Kevin look at her] What? He can't talk. Somebody had to do it.
I'm gonna say he went that away. Ahhh.
