Trudy quotes from The Tribe

Trudy

This is your little cousin, Brady. His daddy and your daddy were brothers. Say hello. Isn’t he beautiful? He’s perfect, Amber.

Trudy

[Talking about Jay] So now he has to live with the fact that the system he helped set up, killed the only brother he had.

Does she want to stay?

Trudy

I've got a name.

Sorry. Do you want to stay Trudy?

Trudy

Yes. Please.

Bray

[making a toast] To the end of our nightmares and the beginning of a new future. May the banquet last forever!

Cheers!

And to quality and caring for each other.

KC

Hey! Can we have some fun as well?

[laughter]

Okay, okay. To quality, caring for each other AND fun.

Cheers!

Tai-San

And I drink to inner peace and my new bodyguard.

Ryan

To families. Our Mall Rat family!

Patsy

And here’s to little guys being taken as much notice as big guys.

Trudy

Sorry, what did you say?

[laughter]

Bray

I’ve got one more thing though. To peace and Mall Rats. Mall Rats!

Mall Rats! Cheers!

Patsy

Trudy. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Trudy?

Trudy

[crying] I left my baby in your care! Where were you?

Patsy

[starts crying] I was right there.

Trudy

You weren’t! You weren’t. You weren’t.

Patsy

Trudy, please! I don’t know what to do!

Trudy

I don’t care what you do! Just get out of my sight! I hate you!!! [Patsy leaves, crying] I don’t want you to ever be anywhere near me again!!

Trudy

We have achieved great things today Guardian.

We have indeed Supreme Mother, we have indeed.

KC

Supreme Mother?

Jack

More like Supreme Fruitcake.

Pride

The election's over. It was a democratic vote and Ebony won.

Trudy

Oh sure! And what's the first thing she does once she gets into office? Banishes Amber and Bray for disagreeing with her. What's so democratic about that?

[cries] Where’s Bray?

Trudy

I don’t know.

When you see him tell him I hate him.

Trudy

No. You tell him. You shout it out so he can hear it. Come on! Let me hear it!

[shouts] I hate him, I hate him, I hate him!!

Trudy

I’m going back to bed. I’m worn out.

Lex

Oh yeah?
