[Terra Snapdragon is forced to act like Eda in one of the Collector's games.]
[deadpan] Oh, hooray, I'm back to normal.
[hiding and watching with the others] What?
Who's got a pint of Apple Blood? Hoot hoot.
[groans] Time out, everyone, time out! Terra, for the last time, Eda doesn't sound like that! She's got more of a, like a... a "cool aunt" vibe who pretends to be all cold-hearted, but actually cares a lot!
Ugh, you're a real thorn in my side, you know that?! I've had it with you and your stupid little dog!
[Upon hearing her insult King, the Collector looks shocked, then glares in anger.]
Ugh, whatever. All I have to do is play Eda the Owl Lady and I don't get turned into one of those things, right? Then let's just continue. [mockingly] "Oooh, I like musicians!"
[charging up a crescent moon shape] You're not being very nice right now.
[suddenly scared] Wait!
[The Collector sends the moon towards Terra, hitting her in the forehead and turning her into a puppet, to Luz’s shock. The Collector sits on his star platform unhappily.]
Collector, buddy, you gotta stop doing that. Think about what you're doing to these people!
You are so boring! I'm just playing pretend!
Even playing pretend has consequences. [sadly] A cranky old witch taught me that...
[excited] You mean Eda, right? That's what we need! The real thing! A cranky, know-it-all mentor figure, no substitutes allowed! Maybe if I ask real nice, I wouldn't have to turn her into a puppet!
N- No! Her curse is still...um...in effect. [the Collector looks disappointed] But I can check if she's feeling better.
[smiling] You promise?
You can trust me, Collector.
[They shake each other's pinky fingers.]
[to Luz, as they watch] Is that the little "King" guy you were telling me about?
[nods and smiles] Mm-hmm.
[gushing] ¡Ay, qué lindo! (Translation: Oh, how cute!)
