Kyon and Yuki in “The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya”

On the day of the tournament, I was wondering if it was possible to make it rain. You know, a big one that'd cancel the game with a rain delay.

It is possible, but I would advise against it.

Any alteration of the regional climate could possibly have devastating aftereffects on the ecosystem of the planet.

And about when would these aftereffects happen?

Several hundred to ten thousand years.

Then I guess we'd better not try to do that, right?

Right.
