[The flock bid farewell to Pidgeot assuring that they can run the forest quite well on their own. Pidgeot bids farewell to his former group as well before returning to Ash, finally fulfilling the promise that Ash would come back for Pidgeot.]

He asked me... he asked me how close I got into becoming a Pokémon Master. Being Champion isn't my goal. The thing is I still think of myself as a challenger. I wanna go on a lot more adventures, meet lots more Pokémon, and take everything I learned every day and put it to good use. That includes meeting Latios.
The thing is... I wanna be friends with all of the Pokémon in the world. That's what it means to be a Pokémon Master.
