HHop
A one Pokémon advantage is big and Cynthia's way too tough.
[The Team Rocket gang race to the front row to check on Ash's progress]
Hey twerp, what's up? Where did that first round fighting spirit run off to?
You're leaving us in the loser's lurch!
Wobbuffet. [Get yourself together.]
Neither have them used Dynamax or Mega Evolution.
LLeon
They're not ready yet. It's exactly when to use them that will be the key to victory here.
[Ash summons his Dracovish while Cynthia summons her Garchomp]
AAsh
Garchomp...is it time for Mega Evolution? [Cynthia doesn't respond. What hidden tricks does she have?] We'll hit it head on! Use Ice Fang!
[Cynthia puts her Roserade back into the area and it's all fine?!]
AAsh
Roserade's not burned now?
HHop
That's so weird. It was just hit by Gengar's Will-o-wisp. [Unless...]
GGoh
Hold on a second. That must mean Cynthia's Roserade...
Roserade's ability is Natural Cure. By returning to its Poké-ball, it can heal from things like burns or poison.
AAsh
So that's why you switched it out. Okay, what's my next move?
[in her mind] Since you understand how your Pokémon feel, you would do that. But it's exactly what will give me the chance to win! [Don't be so sure, Cynthia, until the end of the round...She then exclaims out loud] Spirit of water, Milotic, go! [Summons her Milotic in battle. Oh dear, Cythina, if only you knew how many Milotic Ash loved to beat up]
[Sirfetch'd uses Brutal Swing by throwing his shield like a boomerang, cancelling out Stealth Rock]
How can they do that?!
AAnnouncer
With its extremely high spin rate, Sirfetch'd shield is destroying one Stealth Rock shard after another.
HHop
Is that even possible?
GGoh
Hey, it's Ash! Stuff like this is where he's at his best!
I thought Garchomp might Mega Evolve, but...
LLeon
She has something else in mind. [This makes sense because, besides Iris, Cynthia hung out with Ash more compared to the other members of the Masters Eight, meaning she knows more about how Ash battles.]
Togekiss, return now! [recalls her Togekiss]
AAsh
Wait, what?
AAnnouncer
Oh! Another switch out! [Nope. The camera reveals that Cynthia has a...]
Raw? [Is that...]
AAsh
A Dynamax band?!
Pika! [It is!]
AAnnouncer
Hey, that's no switch out!
Togekiss, soar with white wings! Now Dynamax, let's go! [Seconds later, Togekiss enlarges and pops out of the Dynamax Poké-ball. Cynthia knew that Ash would try and fight Mega Garchomp, hence why she threw him off guard.]
TTogekiss
Togekiss. [You're in trouble now.]
