“Issue 1”
In this episode: Mal Reynolds (2), Book (2), Jayne Cobb (1), Zoe (1), River Tam (1)
[Book is giving a sermon to a church while Mal, Jayne, and Zoe are on a job at the local bank. After the job goes south, Book shows up in some sort of giant dune-buggy to rescue them.]
So... how goes the flock?
At the moment? To their homes. To fetch their guns.
[Still in the dune-buggy, dodging bullets.]
Prayerful group you found yourself here, Shepherd. And here I thought that book of yours had a thing in it about not killing folks.
It does. Comes a bit before the one about not stealing.
. . .
Stop chasin' us! We don't got your damn money! Go chase the guys with the money!!!
Jayne, you yelling like that's only going to make them want to shoot you more.
How you figure?
Because it makes me want to shoot you.
Ball of yarn... All knotted and tangled with different weights and colors, but pull one string and you pull them all...
