[The team show up at Gwen's house and meet her cousin, Sunny, who's staying with her and Natalie for the summer]
[arguing with her mother] But, Mom!
Natalie Tennyson
It's already settled, Gwen. Your cousin Sunny is staying with us for the summer.
Natalie Tennyson
What are you complaining about? You used to love playing with her.
We were 3 years old. I don't even really remember her.
[sitting on the sofa between Ben and Kevin in the living room, introducing herself] Hello, boys. I'm Sunny.
Well, that's boring. [to Kevin] You got a name muscles?
What do you do around her for fun, Kevin?
He hangs out with his girlfriend - Gwen.
This is a really bad idea.
Natalie Tennyson
I didn't ask for your approval, Gwendolyn. Your cousin's taken up with a bad crowd, so her parents asked us to keep her for the summer. They think you'll be a good influence on her.
I wish everybody would stop saying that about me.
Natalie Tennyson
With that attitude of yours, they'll stop soon enough.
[having no time] Okay, I can't fight with you now. I have to stop a robot invasion of Earth.
Natalie Tennyson
If you're going out, take your cousin with you.
[Natalie gives her daughter a serious look on her face; Later in Kevin's car…]
[sitting in the backseat with Ben] Where are going again? Shopping?
Maybe the robots can only open a new dimensional portal every couple of hours.
I've checked that. There's no pattern.
There's one pattern: they keep coming back.
Ben was right about checking pet stores.
Did you know that he can get a pass to go off campus any time he wants?
I didn't even know you could buy frogs at the pet store.
Oh. Mom. Oh, you got the message. Yeah, I'm headed home right now. I already bought new envelopes.
Some now, and I'll finish before bed.
Natalie Tennyson
[through phone] Sweetie, this is family, and more importantly, this is my family. When I got married, I knew the Tennysons were a little odd, but I had no idea some of--
He got away again. Ben's using Wildmutt to track him. He'll call when he finds him.
Hey, mom. I finished the invitations in the car.
Natalie
Your father's getting dinner. Kevin called, and I asked him and Ben to join us. Help set the table. How was your day, Gwennie?
Oh, you know... the usual.
[Gwen yawns]
[Morning at Gwen's House… Natalie is in the kitchen, preparing to make chocolate chip cookies while listening to the recipe on the radio]
IInstructor
[on radio] Most people think chocolate chip cookies have been around forever, but the real story is a lot more interesting. Wish I could remember it, but nobody forgets this wonderful old recipe. You'll need sugar, flour, butter, chocolate chips, and walnuts. [Natalie takes out the ingredients from the pantry and sets them down on the counter] But the nuts are strictly optional. My nephew's face once blew up like a beach ball because he kissed a girl who'd just eaten a peanut butter sandwich. Wait! I forgot the eggs, didn't I? [Natalie tosses the walnuts aside and walks over to the refrigerator] Nature's most perfect food. No… That's milk. Except milk won't give you fiber. [Natalie takes the egg carton out of the fridge and places one on a plate] My doctor's always telling me if I don't get more fiber, I won't be able to...
[entering the kitchen] Mom!
Natalie Tennyson
What is it, honey?
Can I use your car? I'm going over to Kevin's.
Natalie Tennyson
Okay. But don't eat any peanut butter sandwiches.
