Sailor Moon · Season 1
[DIC english dub]
[moans] Oh, my wand.
It's mine, as it was meant to be. Your mother managed to keep it from me for a time, but now, at last, it's mine! Your universe will be no more. Only the Negaverse ruled by Prince Darien and me. Now, Prince Darien, get me that crystal and get rid of her. She caused me enough aggravation.
[DIC english dub]
I can't be defeated again. I've waited too long for this! Tell me how to win this!
Don't whine at me, Beryl. You're nearly as incompetent as your minions. I should abandon you, but I'm giving you this last chance! Use it well!
[Metalia converts Beryl, who screams in terror, into her vessel Super Beryl]
[Viz Media english dub]
Queen Metalia… I beg of you, please grant me your energy. With enough power to crush that despicable girl. Please, Queen Metalia! I will do anything!
As you wish. The time has come to instill hatred and greed into all living creatures in the universe. Queen Beryl, eliminate all beings who attempt to resist, and turn the world into complete darkness!
[Metalia converts Beryl, who screams in terror, into her vessel Super Beryl]
[After Beryl's Laugh, she sees Sailor Moon walking towards her with a purpose] Better enjoy that laugh Beryl. It's the last one you'll ever have. You'll never rule the universe as long as I live.
We better get this over with then!
Let's get to it!
You don't know what you're up against! Goodbye Sailor Moon! [Screams as she throws a power dagger on her until in crystal she emerges in her moon princess form]
I will defeat you, Beryl, in the name of the Moon.
You? Pitiful, little Princess Serena?
I hope Serena's okay out there.
This is bad. It's getting colder by the minute. Queen Beryl was too strong for them. Luna, our scouts are doomed.
I can't believe we'll never see them again. Sailor Moon, you've just got to believe in yourself. Please, don't let the Negaverse win. Everyone's counting on you.
I hear you, Luna. I am not afraid anymore.
You should be!
Cosmic Moon Power. Fight this evil. [thinking] Do not give up, Serena. You can do this.
[Viz Media english dub]
Tell me, why are you so determined to defeat me? You dream of a lovely future that will never come to pass. One day you will realize that this world is already filled with ugliness and filth!
You're wrong! I believe in it! I have faith!
Faith in what? Everlasting love? Indestructible friendships? [laughs]
All of it! I believe in this world and the Guardians that fought for it!
You’re a fool. There is nothing worthwhile in this putrid world for anyone to believe in!
[Dic english dub]
I am not letting you win this one, you witch. My friends are counting on me.
[Flashes back to her good friends' words of help and support]
Hey, Serena. I'll help you finish this assignment if you want.
You are so stubborn, Serena! Let us help or I'll never speak to you again.
Yeah. Let us help you put her away. Still too many guys we gotta meet.
Let us help. We haven't known each other long enough for it to end yet.
[End of flashbacks]
I do need all of you. Please, help me.
[Ghostly figures of the four Sailor Scouts appear and combine their powers with her]
Mercury Power!
Mars Power!
Jupiter Power!
Venus Power!
Cosmic Moon Power! Ignite!
[The Silver Imperium Crystal's power becomes even stronger]
This can't be! NO!
[A massive energy sphere is fired from the combined attack, destroying Super Beryl]
Beryl is gone, blasted back to the Negaverse. The universe is safe again, thanks to you, my friends. Finally we have a chance for peace. Real peace.
[Viz Media english dub]
Silver Crystal, please give me strength. I need everyone’s combined faith and love, to fight for the world we believe in.
[Flashes back to the memories of her friends]
Love is no laughing matter, but you get a happy feeling from it. [giggles]
Stop saying I’m in love with him. I just feel bad for Yuuichirou, that’s all.
So what if he already has a girlfriend? I think it’s worth giving it a shot.
It's all right. All that matters is that Alan and Katarina are happy.
[End of flashbacks]
My friends…
I won’t be sealed away by the Silver Crystal now that all the Dark Energy is mine!
Everyone, give me all your strength, please! Right now!
[Ghostly figures of the four Sailor Guardians appear and combine their powers with her]
Mercury Power!
Mars Power!
Jupiter Power!
Venus Power!
Moon Prism Power!
[The Silver Crystal's power becomes even stronger]
Huh? What's that?!
[A massive energy sphere is fired from the combined attack, destroying Super Beryl. Princess Serenity turns back into Sailor Moon and collapses]
Thank you, everyone… [closes her eyes as she dies. The energy blast engulfs her]
[Dic english dub]
I'm really proud of our Scouts. They really did it. And they all came back safe, too.
Yes. Only now they don't remember any of it. They don't remember being friends or Sailor Scouts - nothing.
Don't worry. All they gotta do is meet up, become friends, and then maybe they'll remember.
I sure hope so. But what about Serena and Darien?
[Viz Media english dub]
It's a miracle. Not only did the dark spots on the Sun disappear, but all of the girls have been reincarnated.
It's sad. I feel sorry for them. Every single memory they had of being together is completely gone now.
That's okay.
Huh?
They always have the chance to become good friends again.
You're right.
It's a nightmare, right? This isn't happening!
Run, Serena! Run for your life!
Now my cat is talking! Reality check... talking cat, yucky flower monster - it's gotta be that third piece of rhubarb pie! This is a dream! I can take control of it!
Uh-oh...
Hey you, Ms. Flower Power! Keep your icky petals to yourself, because if you don't, I will punish you! [pauses] Punish you? Hey, why does that sound so familiar??
I have no choice. I have to revive Sailor Moon. The Luna mind-meld should help.
[Viz Media english dub]
Goodbye, my ordinary life. It was fun while it lasted.
I really don't know what you're up to, but I'm here to stop you! Understand?
Smooth opening line, Serena!
Princess Serena.
Queen Serenity.
I'm here in your mind, my dear. And I'll always be here whenever you need me, my dearest daughter.
Can you help me, please? I do not know how to save my friends.
The power's in the locket.
[A vision of the Moon Kingdom appears, with Serena in full moon princess attire]
The Imperium Crystal.
The strength of your desire to save your friends makes the Silver Crystal glow bright and strong again.
[The Silver Crystal falls in the broken transformation broach, and turns into the Crystal Star broach]
Look at it. It is beautiful.
Luna, keep an eye on her as you always do. Help her succeed.
Sure.
With the power in this crystal, I can save my friends.
Dear princess, remember the Silver Moon Crystal has not regained all its power. But the stronger your desire to save your friends, the stronger it will become, and then you'll become the moon princess once more.
I will make you proud, Queen Serenity. Mother.
Now say Moon Crystal Power.
Princess Serena. This moon scepter will help you in your quest.
[The Cutie Moon Rod is given to Sailor Moon]
Queen Serenity. Thanks. Moon Scepter...Illumination!
