Yeah, it is. But I saw something in those people's eyes I didn't expect to see. I saw hope, I saw dignity. Those men and women? They were treated worse than animals, but they never let anybody stop them from being people, ya know?

I suppose there will always be those who will seek to dehumanize us, but I believe there are more that cling to hope, despite the darkness.
