Archer quotes from Fullmetal Alchemist

Something has happened.

The Crimson Alchemist Solf J Kimblee, and the Sewing-Life Alchemist Shou Tucker. A pair of infamous ghosts.

I've held my end of the bargain. How about you?

You don't have to worry, neither do you doctor. I'll guarantee safety for you both. See, you are under the protection of Frank Archer now.

Protection?

That's right. I'm reinstating you into the military to continue research. but this time, you will be working directly under me.

You'll let me finish my work?

Yes. I'll be changing my orders. Tell the troops not to take prisoners. Kill anyone who looks suspicious. I want this place cleaned.

But sir, there are civilians. You sure that is okay?

(to soldier) It is now. (to self) Now that Tucker is on our side, those creatures can be replaced, and not even Greed can stop me, as long as I have this.

Can't say I was expecting to see you here Ed.

Edward

Yea, I get it. Can't see me because I'm too short to distinguish me from all the grains of sand. Very funny.

I understand that you have been making quite a mess of things. Southern Headquarters? And an escort train full of Ishbalans? No more. From now on you will be working under my command.

Alphonse

But colonel...

You were lucky Havoc's patrol picked you up. It is dangerous out here.

Alphonse

But you knew how we work. We should be able to conduct our own investigation.

Edward

It's the rules Al. I'm their dog. when war starts they put me back on their leash.

Alphonse

War?

Edward

Just look around you. They've come on a military train armed to the teeth.

Alphonse

But who are we at war with?

Calm down. We are just suppressing a regional uprising.

Our objective is a city about two kilometers to the southeast. And that's it.

Edward

Big gins for a peacekeeping mission.

You think so?

Edward

Why don't you come out and say it? Scar is your real target. Truth is, we're looking for him too.

I haven't heard anything form Kimblee yet, or your camera's for that matter.

They are under the Fuehrer's command, I don't know why their would be a problem.

Well obviously there is. If there is not a problem, then why aren't they back yet? How long does it take to find a kid's corpse? Have Scar and Kimblee killed each other in battle, or is the Crimson Alchemist out just having too much fun? There is no time for this.

So this is you little command center, huh? Cozy.

I would have known you were coming, I would have cleaned up.

You, hands up. What is that thing?

There is no need to be cruel.

Lieutenant! Clam down. He is no threat.

No, just a pity. His name is Shou Tucker, called the Sewing-Life Alchemsit, back when he was a huamn.

Hello, Major. I take it you had a sudden change of heart and won't be helping me now.

I've never been on your side Archer. I've only been playing the part. I had to get to the bottom of the corruption plaguing our military. Sometimes you have to play with vermin to sniff out a rat.

You're naive if you think you think you can have a useful military without a little corruption. Tucker!

What are you hoping to accomplish with this circus act?

A decade ago, you annihilated Ishbal, and came back a hero of the state. No I have Lior. It is my turn for fame.

Edward

Hold on! Wait!

Well I guess who survived.

Edward

The people of Lior have given up. The only one left now is Scar.

Given up you say? I have trouble believing that. Not after they just killed the Crimson Alchemist.

Edward

You had orders not to invade Lior.

I'm afraid the battle has already begun.

Edward

You can pretend that it is beyond your control, but because of your senseless war mongering these soldier are being led to slaughter.

Scar has been located sir. We are engaging combat now.

Good

Edward

This is a mistake! Wait! Don't go! You'll all die damnit.
