Cardinal Benedetti and Horatio in “From The Grave”

I told you when you came to me those many years ago, with blood on your hands, that it's not about the life you took, but the lives you make different in the here and now. That's what God is judging you on.

Horatio

I know what my penance is!

So why are you here?

Horatio

I need you to tell me.

When you've done enough, Horatio, you'll know.
