Well, you were thinking that if you came to Homeworld and talked to White Diamond, maybe you could save all the corrupted Gems on Earth.
Oh, right. And look where that got us.
Well, we knew it wouldn't be easy.
Yeah, but I didn't think I'd get every Crystal Gem poofed at the same time. And what'll Dad say when he finds out? His only son, in jail at 14! What a disgrace.

[wakes up and looks at Connie, who's asleep] Guess we'll see what happens.
[wakes up and looks up at the prison tower window] Oh, right. Prison.
[entering; sharply] I cannot believe you! Making a scene like that.
We weren't trying to make a scene! We were just... [turns to see that Connie is not present] dancing? Connie?
[entering the prison tower] I cannot believe you, making a scene like that!
[surprised] Whoa, déjà blue.
We didn't mean any harm! I asked Steven to dance, he wasn't trying to cause trouble!

[chuckles] You think I've never been grounded before?

This isn't normal. How many times did you lock her in here? How many times did you make her cry?!
[Steven, Connie, and Blue Diamond enter Yellow Diamond's bubble chamber, where the poofed gemstones of Ruby, Sapphire, Amethyst, and Pearl are being bubbled]
[sitting in her throne] What... are you doing?
I'm taking back my friends!
[closes her eyes as she looks up from Steven to readdress Blue; annoyed] What are you doing, Blue? Take Pink back to the tower.
She prefers to be called "Steven."
[slams her hand so forcefully against her throne that it cracks, stands up and assumes an angered stance] What are you talking about?! You can't keep bending the rules for her, Blue! She has to set an example, and we have to set an example! If we bend the rules for her, we have to bend them for everyone!
Well, maybe you should!
Take them back to the tower, now!
I won't.
Then I'll do it myself. [reaches down to pick up Steven and Connie, but Blue Diamond smacks her hand away; surprised in shock] Blue?!
When we thought Pink was shattered, when she abandoned us, I alone was there for you, and you would use your power against ME?!
You'd hurt a fellow Diamond?!
Didn't we hurt Pink?! She was suffering in silence for ages -- just like our Gems -- just like me! And I know you're suffering in silence, too!
[Yellow Diamond claps her fist and uses her lightning power on Blue, causing her to begin to destabilize and scream]
Stop! [pulls out his shield and chucks it towards Yellow Diamond's hand, disrupting her concentration] You don't have to do this!
Yes, I do! This is what White Diamond expects of all of us. From a thin flake of mica to the deepest, hardest stone, we all must make sacrifices for the sake of our perfect empire!
Does this look perfect to you?! My dad says if every pork chop were perfect, we wouldn't have hot dogs.
And that means... what?
It means if you try and make this empire perfect -- if you just wipe away everything you see as flawed -- you lose all the things that make you happy -- like hot dogs.
Or our Pink.
Uhh... [falls to the ground on her knees in an uncharacteristic emotional breakdown] Stop. Stop it, Blue. Stop using your power on me...!
I'm not. [walks to Yellow Diamond and comforts her as she sobs]
Steven, come on, grab the Gems. Let's get out of here.
Right. I hope they're okay. Amethyst would usually be back by now.
[wiping a tear from her eye; composed] They'll be out for a good while. They took a direct hit from me.
You've made a grave mistake. Go to your rooms!

Blue, don't make her any angrier than she already is!
[emerging from Yellow Diamond's repaired ship] I always wanted to cut an upper crust!

[Peridot and Lapis emerge from Blue Diamond's repaired ship, both in their new reformed Crystal Gem outfits from the events of "Reunited"]
You thought we wouldn't be here at a time like this?

That felt great.
Wasn't that cool, Steven? Check out the awesome job we did fixing up those hand ships! [the thumb on Yellow Diamond's ship falls off] Uh… who needs thumbs?
Hey, White, I know I was in there with you for a second, but I barely got to talk to you at all. There are so many Gems that are hurting right now. Even Blue and Yellow are hurting. You should hear what they have to say. [to Blue and Yellow; whispers] This is it.
[struggling] We… W-we… We need to talk! About us. I've conquered so many worlds for the sake of the empire. I do everything you ask, and I do it all perfectly. But your very high standards put us all under a lot of pressure. A Gem could crack under so much pressure. We Diamonds may be hard, but we're also brittle.
[steps forward] White, we used to be close. Don't you remember? When Pink would make us laugh -- all those silly things she did for no reason. There was a reason. She wanted us to be happy together. But we weren't, and we're still not. I know my purpose isn't to be happy, but I find it harder and harder to enforce your rules when they make me miserable. When they make us all miserable.
[grabs Pearl's gem] Come on, Pearl. Dance with me! [twirls around and fuses with Pearl to form Rainbow Quartz 2.0]
Well, what do you know? It's Rainbow 2.0! Now, this is a fine mess we're in. [sees Ruby and Sapphire's gemstones falling; gasps] That won't do. [blows raspberry] Rainbow Quartz powers, activate! [catches Ruby and Sapphire's gemstones] Ah, yes. Now that's two stones, with one bird.
[Steven and new reformed Pearl unfuse]
Wow! Nice form, Pearl.
Oh, [chuckles] thank you. I'm particularly excited about the jacket. Aah! Steven! We fused!
Are you guys okay?
Almost. [looks down at Ruby and Sapphire's gemstones] Garnet, we're up against a giant robot. We need your help. Please come out. I'm here. I love you! [hugs them tightly as he begins to glow and starts fusing, to form Sunstone]
Awwwwwwwwwww, yeah! You better step off! Chillax, my dudes. Your rockin' pal Sunstone is holdin' it down.
Wow!
Holy...
All right!
Unbelievable!
Oh, you better believe it.
Okay!
Sunstone, what are we gonna do? White Diamond's never going to listen, and she's never going to let us leave.
If she won't listen, we'll make her listen.
And how are we gonna do that?
I know she's in there. We'll bust into her head and change her mind.

Let's take that bully down! [to the viewers] But remember kids: if you ever have to deal with a bully, be sure to tell an adult. [yanks Pearl and Amethyst onto their shoulders and sprints towards the giant pink foot of the ship] Ally-oop! [summons her suction cups] Kids, don't try this at home. Ha! Bungacowa!
We need to be bigger.
Then let's fuse… All four of us. It's the only way we're gonna get up to her head.
I'm in!
I'm in, too.
Then it's decided. It's time to form Obsidian.
[Connie, Bismuth, Peridot, and Lapis back away to give some space for the Crystal Gems to perform their fusion dance; Obsidian is formed by letting out a big loud cry for battle]
[amazed] They're HU-U-U-U-GE!!
[Steven and the Gems enter White Diamond's ship through the eye and face her]
White Diamond.
Oh, starlight, what are you doing crawling in here?
