“I never got an answer in the end...” – Syaoran, Cardcaptor Sakura ... TV Quotes Database

[On the coach, Syaoran looks deeply sad. He reflects on when he revealed to Sakura that he loves her]

I never got an answer in the end, huh? But…

Syaoran-kun!

Sakura?

I… I figured out how I feel!

[Sakura hands Syaoran a teddy bear she made for him, like he did for her]

And you're…My number one, Syaoran-kun!

[By Number One, Sakura means the person she loves the most. Syaoran takes the bear from Sakura, now knowing that she loves him the same way]

Thank you. Can I call this bear Sakura?

And can I call the bear I got from you Syaoran?

Yeah.

[The coach starts to move]

I'll come back, okay?

But when?

Once I've taken care of things back in Hong Kong.

[The coach moves further away]

Syaoran-kun!

[shouting] Will you wait for me?

[running and shouting] I will! I'll wait! I'll wait for you!

[Syaoran smiles lovingly back at Sakura]

[Thinking] I'll wait… however long it takes, because Syaoran-kun's the person I love the most!
