Debi McCullough, Ceeto and others in “Unfinished Business”

Why are you out here? And where are the others?

I'm alone. I ran away.

Why?

To see the world for myself. I have to make my own decisions.

About what?

About your race. You're the only species that kills its own kind. You're quite imperfect.

Imperfect? You killed my friends for no reason. You could have just asked for our help.

What would you have done? In our collective memory are images of how you helped us when we arrived. Your military greeted us. If we came to you now, what would you do?

Destroy you.

My leaders would do the same. We can't stay together. They're going to be out looking for me.

We've got to get you some help.

Yeah, but where will we go? We can't stay with my people or yours.

I know a place.
